Yes.  The State of Texas requires us to verify your identity in one of the following two ways:

1) GetDefensive.com will pull questions from your Texas Dept. of Public Safety (DPS)driver record as well as from your vehicle registration with the Texas Dept. of Transportation (DOT).

2) If, however, you do not have both a Texas Driver Record and a Texas- registered vehicle, you will be required to submit a signed and notarized Statement of Assurance.  You will also be asked personal questions throughout the Burleson Texas online defensive driving course to ensure that you are the only one taking the course.
