How does this course work after I register for GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving online class?
GetDefensive.com offers two (2) types of internet defensive driving courses - one is for ticket dismissal and the other is for auto insurance premium reduction.  You may take GetDefensive.com’s online defensive driving course on any computer with online access.  You are allowed to start and stop as frequently as you'd prefer, and then pick up from wherever you left off.  The online defensive driving class is divided into several chapters, and at the end of each chapter you will be given a brief, multiple-choice quiz which will assist you in preparing for the final exam. When you successfully finish the final exam, GetDefensive.com will present to you a completion certificate which will be sent to you via the mailing method that you pick at registration.
If I favorably complete GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving online course, do I qualify to obtain an auto insurance premium reduction?
Yes, it is probable.  Although we do recommend that you check with your auto local insurance agent before enrolling in the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online course.  We can tell you that many auto insurance carriers offer discounts of up to 10% to policyholders who successfully complete the GetDefensive.com defensive driving course.   Also, customers who get through our online defensive driving class for ticket dismissal get two (2) copies of his or her completion certificate--one to submit to the court and one to present to his or her auto insurance agent.
I have a hectic schedule, and may need to take the GetDefensive.com Texas defensive driving online course from two different computers. Is this possible?
Absolutely!  You can finish the GetDefensive.com defensive driving internet class from more than one (1) computer if you need to, but you will have to besure that each computer has the flash and browser requirements that are necessary. GetDefensive.com will run a quick scan on any computer that you log into for the initial time to make sure that it has the applicable software installed.
I’m a busy college student and may have to take frequent breaks if I finish GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving online program. Is this possible, or do I need to finish it all at one time?
You may take frequent breaks when you complete the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online program.  You do not have to take the course all at one time, and you may take breaks whenever you need to.  You can then resume where you left off.  GetDefensive.com has your hectic schedule in mind!
I need to advise the court that I have successfully finished the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online class. Is the Texas certificate of completion sent directly to my local court?
No.  After you have passed the Texas online defensive driving course, GetDefensive.com will send via regular mail the certificate of completion to the shipping address that you entered when you signed up.  Keep in mind that you will have to take it to the court by or before the court due date.
 
I am concerned that I now have two (2) traffic citations this year. If I take the GetDefensive.com Texas defensive driving online class, how can I find out for certain whether it is court approved?
