Prices may vary by format for GetDefensive.com’s Texas online defensive driving courses.  The price may be slightly higher if you choose the defensive driving DVD or the defensive driving streaming video.  For the defensive driving course, the cost is the minimum allowed cost under State law, and this includes the shipping of your Texas certificate of completion that will be sent via regular US mail.
I recenty was issued a traffic ticket that I need to keep off of my Texas driver record. How does this program work when I sign up for GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving online course?
GetDefensive.com offers two (2) types of online defensive driving classes - one is for ticket dismissal and the other is for auto insurance premium reduction.  You are allowed to enroll in GetDefensive.com’s online defensive driving class on any computer with online access.  You are free to start and stop as often as you'd like, and then pick up from wherever you left off.  The internet defensive driving course is divided into several chapters, and at the end of each chapter you will need to complete a short, multiple-choice quiz which will help get you ready for the final exam. When you successfully finish the final exam, GetDefensive.com will present to you a certificate of completion which will be mailed to you via the mailing method that you choose at registration.
I want to take GetDefensive.com’s online defensive driving program for ticket dismissal. Do I qualify to obtain any auto insurance premium reduction?
Yes, it is probable.  Although we do recommend that you call your local auto insurance agent before enrolling in the GetDefensive.com defensive driving internet course.  We can tell you that many auto insurance carriers offer reductions of up to 10% to policyholders who successfully finish the GetDefensive.com defensive driving program.   Also, customers who do get through our internet defensive driving course for ticket dismissal get two (2) copies of his or her certificate of completion -- one to present to the court and one to submit to his or her auto insurance agent.
Do I need to log in to the exact same computer when I take the remainder of the GetDefensive.com Texas defensive driving online class?
No.  As long as the computer has internet access, you may complete GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving internet class from any computer.  You are permitted to use multiple computers if you have to, but you will need to make sure that each computer has the flash and browser features that are required. GetDefensive.com will run a quick scan on any computer that you log into for the initial time to be certain that it has the necessary software installed.  The defensive driving internet course can fit into a hectic daily routine! 
I have a lot of responsibility at home, and I have numerous interruptions during the day. Am I allowed to start and stop the GetDefensive.com Texas defensive driving internet class, and then resume where I left off?
Yes, you can start and stop as needed when you complete the GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving online course.  You are not required to complete the course all at once.  When you do want to take a break, you can then resume where you left off.  GetDefensive.com’s program is flexible, and can be arranged around your full schedule!
After I complete GetDefensive.com’s internet defensive driving course, how can I obtain the Texas completion certificate?
After you successfully finish the Texas online defensive driving class, GetDefensive.com will send the completion certificate to the shipping address that you provided at registration.  However, please keep in mind that you are responsible for taking it to the court by or before the court due date.

I need to complete GetDefensive.com’s Texas defensive driving online class. How can I be sure if my traffic ticket qualifies for dismissal by my local court?
For online ticket dismissal, GetDefensive.com is 100% accepted by every court in the State of Texas.  If your traffic citation is eligible for dismissal, your court will tell you as to when you have to take a defensive driving program.  You may also be eligible for a 10% auto insurance discount through your insurance carrier if you successfully complete the online defensive driving course at GetDefensive.com; however, we strongly urge that you first contact your local insurance agent.
I just obtained an additional traffic ticket this year, but I really prefer to keep my Texas driving record [clear|clean}. Do I qualify to complete GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving internet program?
No.  State Law in Texas prevents you from dismissing a second traffic ticket every twelve (12) months. If you are not clear as to when you last finished the internet defensive driving class, we strongly advise that you contact the traffic court to confirm if you currently qualify to finish GetDefensive.com's  defensive driving internet program.
If I do not do well on the quizzes in the GetDefensive.com Texas defensive driving internet class, does this interfere with my overall score?
No.  There is a short quiz after each chapter in GetDefensive.com's defensive driving internet class chapter.  The quizzes are essential and are meant to help you in preparing for the defensive driving final exam.  They do not weigh against your overall score in the online defensive driving class.
If I finish the GetDefensive.com Texas online defensive driving course, is it equivalent to finishing a defensive driving program in an actual classroom setting, and how can I be sure if my local court accepts it?
