GetDefensive.com offers Texas internet defensive driving courses, and the cost may vary by format.   If you choose the defensive driving DVD or the defensive driving streaming video, the price may be slightly more.   For the online defensive driving class, the cost is the minimum allowed cost under State law, and this includes the shipping of the Texas completion certificate that will be sent via regular US mail.
I prefer to sign up for the GetDefensive.com defensive driving internet defensive driving class in the next week. Can you tell me what is the process after registration?
Basically, there are two (2) types of internet defensive driving courses that are available.  One is for ticket dismissal and the other is for auto insurance premium reduction.  You can take the internet defensive driving class on any computer with online access, and you are free to start and stop as often as you'd prefer, and pick up from wherever you left off.  The internet defensive driving class is divided into several chapters, and at the end of each chapter you will need to take a short, multiple-choice quiz which will help you in preparing for the final exam. Once you satisfactorily finish the final exam, GetDefensive.com will give you a certificate of completion which will be mailed to you via the mailing method that you choose at the time of registration.
It is essential that I am eligible for some auto insurance premium reduction. Is this feasible when I enroll in GetDefensive.com’s Texas defensive driving internet course?
It is feasible.  Although we do urge that you check with your local auto insurance agent before registering for the GetDefensive.com defensive driving internet class.  We can tell you that numerous insurance carriers offer discounts of up to 10% to policyholders who successfully finish the GetDefensive.com internet defensive driving course.   Also, customers who get through our internet defensive driving class for ticket dismissal get two (2) copies of his or her completion certificate--one to submit to the court and one to submit to his or her auto insurance agent.
I want to finish the GetDefensive.com Texas defensive driving internet course this week, but I am traveling with my job. May I switch computers in the middle of GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving internet class?
Yes!  GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving internet class may be finished from any computer with online access.  You may work from multiple computers if you want, but you will need to be certain that each computer has the flash and browser features that are needed.  GetDefensive.com will run a brief scan on any computer that you log into for the initial time to make sure that it has the applicable software installed. 
My work schedule does not permit me to take GetDefensive.com’s Texas defensive driving internet program in one sitting. Am I allowed to start and stop the course when needed?
Yes, you may take a time out as needed when you take the GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving online course.  You do not need to complete the program all at one time.  When you do want to take a break, you can then resume where you left off.  GetDefensive.com’s class is flexible, and it may be arranged around your hectic schedule!
I need to be sure that my recent traffic citation is not added to my Texas driver record. How can I obtain GetDefensive.com’s completion certificate?
When you successfully finish the GetDefensive.com Texas
online defensive driving class, the completion certificate will be sent via regular mail to the mailing address that you provided when you registered to take the course.  However, please remember that you must present it to the court by or before the court due date.

No.  There is a brief quiz following each online defensive driving course chapter.  The online defensive driving course quizzes are essential and they are meant to help in preparing you for the final exam.  However, they will not count against your overall course score.
I am a parent that is very active, and do not have time to sit through a traditional defensive driving classroom program. If I complete the GetDefensive.com defensive driving class over the internet, how can I be assured that it is approved by my local court?
The GetDefensive.com defensive driving course is certified by the State of Texas, and can be completed instead of the traditional defensive driving course in a classroom setting.  You do not have to take time out to attend and sit through any long classroom instruction that is in a traditional classroom setting. We also offer Texas Drug and Alcohol Awareness Programs.
