I have a traffic citation that I do not want included in my Texas driver record. After I sign up for the GetDefensive.com defensive driving internet program, what is the next step?
GetDefensive.com offers two (2) types of internet defensive driving courses - one is for ticket dismissal and the other is for auto insurance premium reduction.  You may enroll in GetDefensive.com’s internet defensive driving class on any computer with internet access.  You may start and stop as often as you'd like, and then pick up from wherever you left off.  The internet defensive driving class is divided into several chapters, and at the end of each chapter you are required to complete a brief, multiple-choice quiz which will assist you in preparing for the final exam. When you successfully finish the final exam, GetDefensive.com will give you with a completion certificate which will be sent to you via the mailing method that you choose at registration.
Does the GetDefensive.com Texas defensive driving online course offer any auto insurance premium reduction or insurance discount for successfully completing the internet defensive driving course?
Yes.  Although we do recommend that you check with your local auto insurance agent before signing up for the GetDefensive.com Texas defensive driving internet program.  We can tell you that many insurance carriers offer discounts of up to 10% to policyholders who satisfactorily finish the GetDefensive.com online defensive driving class.   Also, customers who get through our online defensive driving class for ticket dismissal get two (2) copies of his or her completion certificate--one to submit to the court and one to give to his or her auto insurance agent.
My family keeps me very busy. Am I allowed to finish GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving online course from two separate computers?
Yes!  You can take the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online class from multiple computers if you have to do so, but you will have to make sure that each computer has the flash and browser features that are necessary. My court needs to obtain the Texas completion certificate when I have passed the GetDefensive.com defensive driving internet class. How can they get it?

Yes, if it has been over one (1) year since you took an internet defensive driving course, then you qualify.  Texas State Law restricts you from dismissing more than one (1) traffic citation every twelve (12) months.
