I need to take a Texas defensive driving or driver improvement online course. What is the cost of this program?
Prices may vary by format for GetDefensive.com’s Texas online defensive driving courses and online insurance reduction courses.  The price may be slightly higher if you choose the defensive driving DVD or the defensive driving streaming video.  For the online defensive driving or driver improvement course, the cost is the minimum allowable price under State Law, and this includes the shipping of the Texas certificate of completion via regular US Mail.
I want to take the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online driver safety course in the next week. Can you tell me what is the next step after registration?
Basically, there are two (2) types of online defensive driving courses available.  One is for ticket dismissal and the other for insurance premium reduction.  You may take the online defensive driving course on any computer with internet access, and you are free to start and stop as often as you'd like, and pick up from wherever you left off.  The online defensive driving course is divided into several chapters, and at the end of each chapter you will be given a short, multiple-choice quiz which will help prepare you for the final exam. Once you pass the final exam, GetDefensive.com will issue you a Certificate of Completion which will be sent to you via the shipping method you choose at the time of registration.
If I take the GetDefensive.com Texas defensive driving or insurance reduction course online, can I possibly have my auto insurance premiums reduced?

When you complete the GetDefensive.com Texas online defensive driving or driver improvement course, the certificate of completion will be sent to the shipping address that you provided at the time of registration.  However, you are responsible for delivering it to the court by or before the court due date.
Is the GetDefensive.com defensive driving or driver safety online course approved by my local court?
Yes!  GetDefensive.com is 100% approved by every court in the State of Texas for online ticket dismissal.  If you are eligible for ticket dismissal, your court will notify you as to when you must complete a defensive driving or driver safety course.  Also, if you complete the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online program, you may qualify for a 10% insurance discount through your insurance carrier; however, we recommend that you first check with your local insurance agent.
Am I allowed to take the GetDefensive.com Texas defensive driving online course more than once in the same year?
No.  Texas State Law prohibits you from dismissing more than one (1) ticket every twelve (12) months.
