Once you have completed the GetDefensive.com Dallas Texas online defensive driving/driver safety/ticket dismissal class, your completion certificate will be sent to you by first-class mail.  If you have a court deadline fast approaching, you may wish to use one of our expedited shipping methods and have it sent via FedEx.  We regret that GetDefensive.com is not able to send completion certificates via email or fax.

When you log onto GetDefensive.com for the first time on any computer, GetDefensive.com’s system will run a check to verify that the computer has all the required software installed.

You bet! While some may prefer to take the entire GetDefensive.com Dallas Texas defensive driving online course all at once, you are certainly not required to do so. You can stop and resume as often as you need in order to accommodate your schedule.

Upon your successful completion of the Dallas Texas streaming video course or the Dallas Texas driver improvement course or the Dallas Texas video traffic school course or the Dallas Texas online defensive driving course, GetDefensive.com will mail your certificate of completion to your home or business address. It is your responsibility to present it to your insurance company.

GetDefensive.com’s online insurance reduction/defensive driving course is approved by every court in Dallas Texas for ticket dismissal.

Dallas Texas law limits you to one (1) ticket dismissal per every twelve (12) month period. If you’ve had a prior ticket dismissed within the last 12 months after successfully completing a Dallas Texas defensive driving class, you would not be eligible to take GetDefensive.com’s Dallas Texas defensive driving online class to have the most recent ticket thrown out. If you are uncertain as to whether you took Dallas Texas defensive driving during the past 12 months, we recommend that you contact the Dallas Texas court and ask if your latest ticket is eligible for dismissal.

Yes. The quizzes which you will take throughout the GetDefensive.com Dallas Texas online defensive driving/driver safety/insurance reduction class are only to help prepare you for the final exam you will take at the end of the class. The quizzes themselves do not impact your overall grade for the class.

Yes! The online Dallas Texas defensive driving course or traffic school course offered by GetDefensive.com gives you the same credit you would receive for taking the Dallas Texas defensive driving course or traffic school course in a classroom. 

No.  The Texas Education Agency only allows defendants to dismiss one (1) traffic ticket every 12 months.  If you have taken a defensive driving course within the past 12 months or are uncertain when you last took a driver safety course, we suggest you check with your Dallas Texas court to see if you're qualified to take a ticket dismissal course at this time or order a copy of your Texas Driver Record.  If you are currently eligible to take a course, you may take GetDefensive.com's defensive driving/driver safety/ticket dismissal course online to have one (1) ticket dismissed, but you won't be able to have more than one (1) ticket/citation removed from your record by taking our online course.

The State of Texas requires us to confirm your identity when you take GetDefensive.com’s Dallas Texas online defensive driving course in one(1) of two(2) ways: by pulling questions from your driver record/driver history on file with the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) as well as from your vehicle registration information on file with the Texas Department of Transportation (DOT) or, if you do not have both a driver record and a vehicle registered with the State of Texas, you will need to provide a signed and notarized Statement of Assurance and you will be required to accurately respond to personal questions throughout the GetDefensive.com Dallas Texas defensive driving online course.
