I need to finish an online defensive driving course soon. How does GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving online class work?
GetDefensive.com offers two (2) types of internet defensive driving courses - one is for ticket dismissal and the other is for auto insurance premium reduction.  You may sign up for GetDefensive.com’s internet defensive driving course on any computer with online access.  You can to start and stop as often as you'd prefer, and then pick up from wherever you left off.  The online defensive driving class is divided into several chapters, and at the end of each chapter you will need to complete a short, multiple-choice quiz which will help you in preparing for the final exam. When you satisfactorily finish the final exam, GetDefensive.com will present to you a certificate of completion which will be mailed to you via the shipping method that you pick at registration.
Is it feasible to have my auto insurance premiums reduced when I take GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving online program?
Yes, it is feasible.  Although we do urge that you consult with your local auto insurance agent before signing up for the GetDefensive.com Texas online defensive driving class.  It is helpful to know that numerous insurance carriers offer reductions of up to 10% to policyholders who successfully complete the GetDefensive.com defensive driving program.   Also, customers who get through our internet defensive driving class for ticket dismissal get two (2) copies of his or her certificate of completion -- one to submit to the court and one to give to his or her auto insurance agent.

No.  As long as the computer has internet access, you may finish GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving internet program from any computer.  You are permitted to use multiple computers if you need to, but you will have to be certain that each computer is equipped with the flash and browser features that are required. GetDefensive.com will run a brief scan on any computer that you log into for the initial time to make sure that it has the necessary software installed.  The defensive driving online course can fit into a full schedule! 
I’d rather not go through a traditional defensive driving classroom program. Am I required to get through GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving internet course all at once, or may I take breaks as needed?
You are allowed to take frequent breaks when you finish the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online class.  You are not required to complete the course all at once, and you may stop whenever you need to.  You can then resume where you left off.  GetDefensive.com has your busy schedule in mind!
Where is my Texas completion certificate sent after I successfully complete the GetDefensive.com internet defensive driving course?
After you have passed the Texas online defensive driving course, GetDefensive.com will mail the completion certificate to the mailing address that you provided when you registered for the course.  Keep in mind that you must present it to the court by or before the court due date.
