Prices may vary by format for GetDefensive.com’s Texas online defensive driving courses and online insurance reduction courses.  The price may be slightly higher if you choose the defensive driving DVD or the defensive driving streaming video.  For the online defensive driving or driver improvement course, the cost is the minimum allowable price under State Law, and this includes the shipping of your Texas certificate of completion via regular US Mail.

Yes, it is possible.  Although we do recommend that you check with your local insurance agent before taking the GetDefensive.com Texas online defensive driving course or online insurance reduction course, we can tell you that many insurance carriers offer discounts of up to 10% to policyholders who successfully complete the GetDefensive.com defensive driving program.   Also, customers who complete our online driver safety program for ticket dismissal get two (2) copies of his or her completion certificate--one to give to the court and one to give to his or her insurance agent.

No, you can take the GetDefensive.com online driver improvement course from any computer with internet access.  You may use multiple computers if you need to do so, but you will need to make sure that each computer is equipped with the flash and browser features that are required. GetDefensive.com will run a quick scan on any computer that you log into for the first time to make sure that it has the required software installed.  

Yes, you may start and stop as needed when you take the GetDefensive.com’s driver safety online course.  You do not have to take the program all at once.  When you do need to take a break, you can then resume where you left off.  GetDefensive.com’s program is flexible, and can be worked into your busy schedule!

After you successfully finish the Texas online defensive driving or driver safety course, GetDefensive.com will mail the certificate of completion to the shipping address that you provided at registration.  Keep in mind that you are responsible for delivering it to the court by or before the court due date.

Yes!  GetDefensive.com is 100% approved by every court in the State of Texas for online ticket dismissal.  If you are eligible for ticket dismissal, your  court will notify you as to when you must complete a defensive driving or traffic school course.  Also, if you complete the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online program, you may qualify for a 10% insurance discount through your insurance carrier; however, we recommend that you first check with your local insurance agent.

No.  There is a short quiz after each online driver safety course chapter.  The online driver safety course quizzes are important and are designed to assist you in preparing you for the final exam.  However, they will not count against your overall course score.
