Prices may vary by format for GetDefensive.com’s Texas internet defensive driving courses.  The price may be slightly higher if you choose the defensive driving DVD or the defensive driving streaming video.  For the defensive driving class, the cost is the lowest possible price under State law, and this includes the mailing of your Texas completion certificate that will be mailed.
I have a traffic ticket that I have to dismiss soon, but I’m not clear how the class works. What do I have to do after registration for GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving internet program?
GetDefensive.com offers two (2) types of internet defensive driving classes available - one is for ticket dismissal and the other is for insurance premium reduction.  You may sign up for GetDefensive.com’s internet defensive driving class on any computer with online access.  You are permitted to start and stop as often as you'd prefer, and then pick up from wherever you left off.  The online defensive driving class is divided into several chapters, and at the end of each chapter you will be given a short, multiple-choice quiz which will help in preparing you for the final exam. When you successfully finish the final exam, GetDefensive.com will issue you a completion certificate which will be mailed to you via the mailing method that you choose at registration.
I really need to obtain an auto insurance premium reduction. Is this possible when I take the GetDefensive.com Texas defensive driving internet course?
Although we do advise that you contact your local auto insurance agent before enrolling in the GetDefensive.com Texas defensive driving online class.  We can tell you that many auto insurance carriers offer reductions of up to 10% to policyholders who pass the GetDefensive.com internet defensive driving course.   Also, customers who do complete our online defensive driving class for ticket dismissal get two (2) copies of his or her completion certificate -- one to submit to the court and one to give to his or her auto insurance agent.
My computer is currently having technical problems. If my computer breaks down, can I change computers in the middle of the GetDefensive.com defensive driving internet course, and resume where I left off on a different computer?
Yes!  You can begin the GetDefensive.com defensive driving internet course from one computer, and then finish it from another computer.  You can work from multiple computers if you need to do so, but you will need to make sure that each computer has the flash and browser features that are required. GetDefensive.com will run a quick scan on any computer that you log into for the initial time to be certain that it has the necessary software installed.  The defensive driving program can easily fit into anyone’s daily routine!
I have a demanding job, and I have numerous interruptions during the day. Am I allowed to start and stop the GetDefensive.com defensive driving internet course, and then resume where I left off?
Yes, you may start and stop as needed when you take GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving online course.  You do not need to take the course all one time.  When you do need to take a break, you can then resume where you left off.  GetDefensive.com’s program is flexible, and can be worked into your busy schedule!
I am worried that my traffic citation may get added to my Texas driver record. Is the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online course completion certificate sent directly to me?
When you pass the Texas online defensive driving class, GetDefensive.com will send via regular mail the certificate of completion to the mailing address that you provided when you registered for the class.  However, please note that you are responsible for delivering it to the court by or before the court due date.

Yes!  GetDefensive.com is 100% approved by every court in the State of Texas for internet ticket dismissal.  If your traffic ticket is eligible for dismissal, your court will explain to you as to when you have to finish a defensive driving class.  You may also be eligible for a 10% auto insurance discount through your insurance carrier if you complete the internet defensive driving class at GetDefensive.com; however, we recommend that you first consult with your local auto insurance agent.
I just got an additional traffic citation this year, and I’d prefer that my Texas driver record remain clear. What are the eligibility requirements for finishing the GetDefensive.com defensive driving internet course?
State Law in Texas prohibits you from dismissing more than one (1) traffic ticket every twelve (12) months. No.  There is a short quiz after each online defensive driving class chapter.  The online defensive driving course quizzes are important and they are meant to help in preparing you for the final exam.  However, they will not weigh against your overall class score.
