I need to take a Texas defensive driving online course. I may decide to take GetDefensive.com’s internet defensive driving course or I may choose the defensive driving DVD. Are they the same price?
GetDefensive.com offers Texas online defensive driving classes, and the price may vary by format. If you choose the defensive driving DVD or the defensive driving streaming video, the cost may be slightly more. For the internet defensive driving class, the cost is the minimum allowed under State law, and this includes the mailing of the Texas completion certificate that will be mailed.

Basically, there are two (2) types of internetdefensive driving classes available. One is for ticket dismissal and the other is for auto insurance premium reduction. You are permitted to take the online defensive driving class on any computer with online access, and you are allowed to start and stop as often as you'd like, and pick up from wherever you left off. The internet defensive driving course is divided into several chapters, and at the end of each chapter you will be given a short, multiple-choice quiz which will help to prepare you for the final exam. Once you successfully complete the final exam, GetDefensive.com will issue you a completion certificate which will be sent to you via the shipping method you choose at the time of registration.
Am I eligible for any auto insurance premium reduction if I enroll in GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving internet course?
Although we do advise that you call your local auto insurance agent before taking the GetDefensive.com defensive driving internet class. We can tell you that many auto insurance carriers offer reductions of up to 10% to policyholders who pass the GetDefensive.com internet defensive driving course. Also, customers who satisfactorily complete our internet defensive driving class for ticket dismissal get two (2) copies of his or her completion certificate -- one to present to the court and one to present to his or her auto insurance agent.

You may take breaks as often as needed when you finish GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving online program. You are not required to take the course all at one time, and you may stop and start whenever you need to. You can then resume where you left off. GetDefensive.com has your busy schedule in mind!
After I successfully pass GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving online final exam, is the Texas completion certificate sent directly to my court?
When you successfully finish the Texas internet defensive driving course, GetDefensive.com will send the certificate of completion to the shipping address that you provided when you signed up. However, you will have to deliver it to the court by or before the court due date.
