I am required to take a Texas defensive driving online course. I may decide to take GetDefensive.com’s online defensive driving class or I may select the defensive driving DVD. Are they the same price?
GetDefensive.com offers Texas internet defensive driving courses, and the cost may vary by format.   If you select the defensive driving DVD or the defensive driving streaming video, the cost may be slightly higher.   For the online defensive driving class, the cost is the lowest possible under State law, and this includes the shipping of the Texas completion certificate that will be sent via regular US mail.
I attended a traditional defensive driving classroom program several years ago, and I am not as up-to-date with the internet defensive driving courses. How does the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online course work?
Basically, there are two (2) types of internet defensive driving courses that are available.  One is for ticket dismissal and the other is for auto insurance premium reduction.  You can enroll in the internet defensive driving class on any computer with internet access, and you are free to start and stop as often as you'd prefer, and resume from wherever you left off.  The online defensive driving class is divided into several chapters, and at the end of each chapter you will have to take a brief, multiple-choice quiz which will assist you in preparing for the final exam. Once you satisfactorily finish the final exam, GetDefensive.com will present to you a certificate of completion which will be mailed to you via the shipping method that you select at the time of registration.
It is important that I qualify for some auto insurance premium reduction. Is this possible when I register for GetDefensive.com’s Texas defensive driving internet class?
It is feasible.  Although we do recommend that you check with your local auto insurance agent before starting the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online program.  It is helpful to know that many insurance carriers offer reductions of up to 10% to policyholders who successfully take the GetDefensive.com online defensive driving course.   Also, customers who get through our internet defensive driving course for ticket dismissal get two (2) copies of his or her completion certificate--one to submit to the court and one to submit to his or her auto insurance agent.
Do I have to log in to the exact same computer when I finish the remainder of the GetDefensive.com Texas defensive driving internet course?
No.  As long as the computer has online access, you may complete GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving internet course from any computer.  You are allowed to use multiple computers if you have to, but you will need to be certain that each computer is equipped with the flash and browser features that are needed. GetDefensive.com will run a brief scan on any computer that you log into for the first time to be certain that it has the required software installed.  The defensive driving online program can fit into a busy schedule! 
My work schedule does not allow me to complete GetDefensive.com’s Texas defensive driving internet program in one sitting. Am I allowed to start and stop the class when needed?
Yes, you may start and stop as needed when you complete the GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving online course.  You do not have to get through the course all at once.  When you do need to take a break, you can then resume where you left off.  GetDefensive.com’s course is flexible, and it can be arranged around your hectic schedule!
After I complete GetDefensive.com’s internet defensive driving course, how will I get my Texas completion certificate?
After you successfully finish the Texas online defensive driving, GetDefensive.com will mail  the certificate of completion to the shipping address that you provided when you  signed up to take the course.  Please know that you will have to present the certificate to the court by or before the court due date.
I would like to keep a recent traffic citation off of my Texas driver record. How can I find out if my court accepts GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving internet program for internet ticket dismissal?
GetDefensive.com is 100% accepted by every court in the State of Texas for online ticket dismissal.  If you qualify for ticket dismissal, your court will notify you as to when you must complete a defensive driving course.  Also, if you finish the GetDefensive.com defensive driving internet class, you may qualify for a 10% auto insurance discount through your insurance carrier; however, we strongly recommend that you first check with your local auto insurance agent.

Texas State Law restricts you from throwing out a second traffic citation every twelve (12) months. There is a brief quiz following each chapter in GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving online course.  The quizzes are important and help in preparing you for the final exam, but they will not count against your final class score.
