Basically, there are two (2) types of online defensive driving courses that are available - one is for ticket dismissal and the other is for auto insurance premium reduction.  You may take the internet defensive driving class on any computer with online access, and you may start and stop as often as you'd prefer, and resume from wherever you left off.  The online defensive driving class is divided into several chapters, and at the end of each chapter you will have to take a brief, multiple-choice quiz which will help you in preparing for the final exam. Once you satisfactorily finish the final exam, GetDefensive.com will present to you a certificate of completion which will be sent to you via the mailing method that you choose at the time of registration.
It is important that I am eligible for some auto insurance premium reduction. Is this possible when I enroll in GetDefensive.com’s Texas defensive driving internet course?
It is feasible.  Although we do urge that you check with your local auto insurance agent before enrolling in the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online course.  We can tell you that numerous insurance carriers offer discounts of up to 10% to policyholders who successfully finish the GetDefensive.com internet defensive driving class.   Also, customers who get through our internet defensive driving course for ticket dismissal get two (2) copies of his or her certificate of completion--one to present to the court and one to submit to his or her auto insurance agent.
If my computer breaks down, am I permitted to change computers in the middle of the GetDefensive.com defensive driving internet course, and then resume where I left off?
Yes!  You can start the GetDefensive.com defensive driving internet class from one computer, and then complete it from a different computer.  You can work from multiple computers if you have to, but you will need to be certain that each computer has the flash and browser features that are needed. GetDefensive.com will run a quick scan on any computer that you log into for the first time to be sure that it has the applicable software installed.  GetDefensive.com can easily fit into anyone’s schedule!
I'm unable to sit for long periods of time, and I would rather take GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving online program at intervals. Is this possible, or am I required to get through it all at once?
You may start and stop as often as needed when you get through the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online program.  You are not required to take the course all at once.  When you do have to take a break, you can then resume where you left off.  GetDefensive.com’s class is flexible, and can be worked into your full schedule!
How can I obtain my Texas completion certificate after I have passed the GetDefensive.com online defensive driving course?

Yes!  GetDefensive.com is 100% accepted by every court in the State of Texas for internet ticket dismissal.  If your traffic citation is eligible for dismissal, your court will inform you as to when you must take a defensive driving course.  You may also qualify for a 10% auto insurance discount through your insurance carrier if you successfully meet the requirements of the internet defensive driving class at GetDefensive.com; however, we strongly urge that you first consult with your local auto insurance agent.

Yes, if it has been over one (1) year since you finished an internet defensive driving class, then you qualify.  Texas State Law restricts you from removing more than one (1) traffic citation every twelve (12) months.
