GetDefensive.com offers Texas internet defensive driving courses, and the cost may vary by format.   If you select the defensive driving DVD or the defensive driving streaming video, the price may be slightly more.   For the internet defensive driving course, the cost is the lowest possible cost under State law, and this includes the mailing of your completion certificate that will be mailed.
Can you tell me how class works, and am I allowed to go through the GetDefensive.com Texas defensive driving online class for either ticket dismissal or for auto insurance reduction?
Basically, there are two (2) types of internetdefensive driving courses available.  One is for ticket dismissal and the other is for auto insurance premium reduction.  You are allowed to take the online defensive driving class on any computer with online access, and you are permitted to start and stop as often as you'd prefer, and pick up from wherever you left off.  The online defensive driving class is divided into several chapters, and at the end of each chapter you will be given a short, multiple-choice quiz which will help to prepare you for the final exam. Once you successfully complete the final exam, GetDefensive.com will issue you a completion certificate which will be mailed to you via the shipping method you select at the time of registration.
My auto insurance premiums are more than average, and I received a traffic ticket recently. When I enroll in GetDefensive.com’s Texas defensive driving internet course, do I qualify for any auto insurance reduction?
Maybe.  Although we do urge that you contact your local auto insurance agent before taking the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online course.  It is helpful to know that many auto insurance carriers offer reductions of up to 10% to policyholders who successfully take the GetDefensive.com internet defensive driving course.   Also, customers who pass our internet defensive driving course for ticket dismissal get two (2) copies of his or her certificate of completion--one to give to the court and one to present to his or her auto insurance agent.
My computer is currently having technical problems. If my computer breaks down, may I change computers in the middle of the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online course, and resume where I left off on another computer?
Absolutely!  You can begin the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online course from one computer, and then complete it from another computer.  You can go through it from multiple computers if you have to do so, but you will have to make sure that each computer has the flash and browser features that are required. GetDefensive.com will run a quick scan on any computer that you log into for the initial time to make sure that it has the necessary software installed.  The defensive driving class can easily work into anyone’s schedule!
I have a job that requires me to work different hours every day of the week. Am I required to complete the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online class all at once?
No.  You may take frequent breaks when you finish GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving internet program.  You do not have to complete the class all at once.  You are allowed to stop whenever you need to, and then resume where you left off.  GetDefensive.com has your busy schedule in mind!
Is it my responsibility to get the Texas certificate of completion to my court when I successfully finish the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online course?
Yes.  After you successfully pass GetDefensive.com's Texas internet defensive driving course, the certificate of completion will be sent via regular mail to the shipping address that you provided at registration.  Keep in mind that you will have to present it to the court by or before the court due date.

GetDefensive.com is 100% approved by every court in the State of Texas for internet ticket dismissal.  If you qualify for ticket dismissal, your court will notify you as to when you have to take a defensive driving program.  Also, if you meet the requirements of the GetDefensive.com defensive driving internet course, you may be eligible for a 10% auto insurance discount through your insurance carrier; however, we strongly recommend that you first contact your local auto insurance agent.
