I am enrolling in the GetDefensive.com defensive driving class. How does this class work?
Basically, there are two (2) types of internet defensive driving classes that are available.  One is for ticket dismissal and the other for auto insurance premium reduction.  You may enroll in the online defensive driving course on any computer with internet access, and you are permitted to start and stop as often as needed, and pick up from wherever you left off.  The internet defensive driving program is divided into several chapters, and at the end of each chapter you will need to take a short, multiple-choice quiz which will help get you ready for the final exam. Once you satisfactorily finish the final exam, GetDefensive.com will present to you a completion certificate which will be mailed to you via the shipping method that you choose at the time of registration.
I would like to take GetDefensive.com’s internet defensive driving course for ticket dismissal purposes. Is it possible to get an auto insurance premium reduction?
Yes.  Although we do advise that you consult with your local auto insurance agent before taking the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online class.  It is important to know that many auto insurance carriers offer discounts of up to 10% to policyholders who successfully complete the GetDefensive.com defensive driving program.   Also, customers who get through our online defensive driving class for ticket dismissal get two (2) copies of his or her completion certificate--one to submit to the court and one to submit to his or her auto insurance agent.

Yes, if it has been over one (1) year since you completed an internet defensive driving class, then you are eligible.  Texas State Law prevents you from dismissing more than one (1) traffic citation every twelve (12) months. There is a short quiz following each chapter in GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving internet course.  The quizzes are important and help in getting you ready for the final exam, but they will not weigh against your overall class score.
