I'd rather that my Texas driver record stay clean, and I want to register for an online defensive driving class soon. How does GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving online program work?
GetDefensive.com offers two (2) types of online defensive driving classes - one is for ticket dismissal and the other is for auto insurance premium reduction.  You may sign up for GetDefensive.com’s online defensive driving course on any computer with online access.  You can start and stop as often as needed, and then pick up from wherever you left off.  The internet defensive driving class is divided into several chapters, and at the end of each chapter you will have to take a short, multiple-choice quiz which will help you in preparing for the final exam. When you favorably complete the final exam, GetDefensive.com will present to you a certificate of completion which will be mailed to you via the mailing method that you pick at registration.
If I successfully get through GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving online class, am I eligible to obtain an auto insurance premium reduction?
Yes, it is probable.  Although we do urge that you check with your auto local insurance agent before signing up for the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online class.  We can tell you that many auto insurance carriers offer reductions of up to 10% to policyholders who satisfactorily finish the GetDefensive.com defensive driving class.   Also, customers who pass our online defensive driving course for ticket dismissal get two (2) copies of his or her certificate of completion--one to give to the court and one to submit to his or her auto insurance agent.
I have a hectic schedule, and may need to finish the GetDefensive.com Texas defensive driving internet class from two different computers. Is this possible?
Yes!  You can take the GetDefensive.com defensive driving internet class from multiple computers if you need to, but you will have to besure that each computer has the flash and browser requirements that are needed. GetDefensive.com will run a quick scan on any computer that you log into for the initial time to make sure that it has the applicable software installed.
I really sit often with my work, and may find it hard to sit through a long defensive driving course when I get home in the evening. Do I have to take the GetDefensive.com Texas defensive driving internet course all at one time, or may I take frequent breaks?

GetDefensive.com is 100% accepted by every court in the State of Texas for online ticket dismissal.  If you qualify for ticket dismissal, your court will inform you as to when you have to finish a defensive driving class.  Also, if you successfully finish the GetDefensive.com defensive driving internet course, you may be eligible for a 10% auto insurance discount through your insurance carrier; however, we strongly recommend that you first contact your local auto insurance agent.
What are the eligibility requirements for taking the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online program?
State Law in Texas prohibits you from throwing out more than one (1) traffic ticket every twelve (12) months. If you are not clear as to when you last completed the internet defensive driving course, we strongly recommend that you check with the traffic court to verify if you currently are eligible to take GetDefensive.com's  defensive driving online course.
How many quizzes are included in the GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving online program?
There is a short quiz following each online defensive driving class chapter.  Each quiz is selected in order to help in getting you ready for the final exam.  The quizzes do not weigh against your total grade.
If I take the GetDefensive.com Texas internet defensive driving class, is it equivalent to finishing a defensive driving program in an actual classroom setting, and how do I know if my local court accepts it?
