The cost may be slightly higher if you choose the defensive driving DVD or the defensive driving streaming video. For the internet defensive driving class, the price is the minimum allowed cost under State law, and this includes the mailing of the Texas completion certificate that will be mailed.

The online defensive driving course is divided into several chapters, and at the end of each chapter you will be given a short, multiple-choice quiz which will help get you ready for the final exam. Once you satisfactorily finish the final exam, GetDefensive.com will issue to you a completion certificate which will be mailed to you via the shipping method that you select at the time of registration.
I would like to register for GetDefensive.com’s online defensive driving program for ticket dismissal purposes. Is it possible to obtain an auto insurance premium reduction?
Yes. Although we do advise that you consult with your local auto insurance agent before enrolling in the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online course. We can tell you that many auto insurance carriers offer discounts of up to 10% to policyholders who successfully finish the GetDefensive.com defensive driving class. Also, customers who get through our internet defensive driving class for ticket dismissal get two (2) copies of his or her completion certificate--one to submit to the court and one to submit to his or her auto insurance agent.
