Prices may vary by format for GetDefensive.com’s Texas online defensive driving courses.  The price may be slightly higher if you choose the defensive driving DVD or the defensive driving streaming video.  For the defensive driving course, the cost is the lowest possible price under State law, and this includes the shipping of your Texas certificate of completion that will be mailed.
I want to complete the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online defensive driving class in the next week. Will you tell me what is the next step following registration?
Basically, there are two (2) types of internet defensive driving classes that are available.  One is for ticket dismissal and the other is for auto insurance premium reduction.  You can sign up for the online defensive driving course on any computer with online access, and you are free to start and stop as often as you'd like, and pick up from wherever you left off.  The online defensive driving class is divided into several chapters, and at the end of each chapter you will need to take a short, multiple-choice quiz which will help you in preparing for the final exam. Once you pass the final exam, GetDefensive.com will issue you a certificate of completion which will be sent to you via the shipping method that you select at the time of registration.
I need to register for GetDefensive.com’s online defensive driving program for ticket dismissal purposes. Is it feasible to receive an auto insurance premium reduction?
Yes.  Although we do urge that you consult with your local auto insurance agent before enrolling in the GetDefensive.com defensive driving internet program.  It is important to know that many auto insurance carriers offer reductions of up to 10% to policyholders who successfully finish the GetDefensive.com defensive driving course.   Also, customers who get through our online defensive driving course for ticket dismissal get two (2) copies of his or her certificate of completion--one to submit to the court and one to present to his or her auto insurance agent.
Am I required to work from the exact same computer every time that I log in to the GetDefensive.com Texas defensive driving internet program?
No, you can take the GetDefensive.com internet defensive driving course from any computer with online access.  You are allowed to use multiple computers if you have to, but you will need to be certain that each computer has the flash and browser features that are needed. GetDefensive.com will run a brief scan on any computer that you log into for the first time to make sure that it has the applicable software installed.  
I just started a new job that is very tedious. Am I permitted to take a break from GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving online course as much as needed, and then resume where I left off?

After I finish GetDefensive.com’s internet defensive driving course, how can I receive my Texas certificate of completion?
After you successfully finish the Texas online defensive driving, GetDefensive.com will mail  the completion certificate to the shipping address that you entered when you registered to take the class.  Please know that you are responsible for delivering the certificate to the court by or before the court due date.
Is GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving online class accepted by my local court?
GetDefensive.com is 100% approved by every court in the State of Texas for online traffic ticket dismissal.  If you are eligible for ticket dismissal, your court will tell you as to when you must complete a defensive driving program.  Also, if you successfully finish the GetDefensive.com defensive driving internet course, you may qualify for a 10% auto insurance discount through your insurance carrier; however, we strongly advise that you first check with your local auto insurance agent.
I prefer that my recent traffic citation is not made a part of my Texas driver record. Am I eligible to complete GetDefensive.com’s Texas internet defensive driving course if I have not taken an online defensive driving program in over 1 year?
Yes, if it has been over one (1) year since you finished an online defensive driving course, then you are eligible.  Texas State Law prevents you from dismissing a second traffic ticket every twelve (12) months. If you are unclear as to when you last satisfactorily completed the internet defensive driving course, we strongly recommend that you consult with the traffic court to find out if you definitely qualify to take GetDefensive.com's defensive driving internet course.
Do the quizzes weigh against my final score in GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving internet class?
No.  There is a short quiz following each chapter in GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving internet class.  The quizzes do not count against your final course score.  They are meant to help in getting you ready for the final exam.
