GetDefensive.com offers Texas internet defensive driving classes, and the price may vary by format.   If you decide on the defensive driving DVD or the defensive driving streaming video, the price may be slightly more.   For the online defensive driving class, the cost is the minimum allowed price under State law, and this includes the shipping of the Texas completion certificate that will be sent via regular US mail.
Can you verify how the GetDefensive.com Texas defensive driving online program works, and what am I required to do after registration?
There are two (2) types of internet defensive driving classes available - one is for ticket dismissal and the other is for insurance premium reduction.  You may take the online defensive driving course on any computer with online access, and you may to start and stop as often as you would like, and pick up from wherever you left off.  The online defensive driving class is divided into several chapters, and at the end of each chapter you will be issued a short, multiple-choice quiz which will help you in preparing you for the final exam. Once you satisfactorily complete the final exam, GetDefensive.com will issue you a certificate of completion which will be sent to you via the mailing method that you select at the time of registration.

My auto insurance premiums are higher than average due to a prior traffic citation. Am I eligible for any auto insurance reduction when I register for GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving online program?
Although we do advise that you consult with your local auto insurance agent prior to taking the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online course.  It is important to know that many auto insurance carriers offer reductions of up to 10% to policyholders who successfully get through the GetDefensive.com online defensive driving class.   Also, customers who successfully complete our online defensive driving class for ticket dismissal get two (2) copies of his or her certificate of completion -- one to submit to the court and one to give to his or her auto insurance agent.
I am busy with new job challenges at work. I may want to complete the GetDefensive.com Texas defensive driving internet class from another computer. Is this feasible?
(Definitely|Yes}!  You can finish the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online course from multiple computers if you need to do so, but it is your responsibility to be sure that each computer is equipped with the flash and browser features that are required. ?website will run a quick scan on any computer that you log into for the initial time to make sure that it has the applicable software installed.  GetDefensive.com can easily work into a full schedule!

State Law in Texas prevents you from removing more than one (1) traffic citation every twelve (12) months.
