I am required to enroll in a Texas defensive driving class online. Do you offer both the online and DVD format of GetDefensive.com's internet course?
The prices may vary by format for GetDefensive.com’s Texas internet defensive driving courses.  The cost may be slightly more if you select the defensive driving DVD or the defensive driving streaming video.  For the internet defensive driving course, the cost is the lowest possible price under State law, and this includes the mailing of your Texas certificate of completion that will be mailed.
I finished a traditional defensive driving classroom program a few years ago, and I am not as familiar with the internet defensive driving courses. How does the GetDefensive.com defensive driving internet class work?
Basically, there are two (2) types of internet defensive driving classes that are available.  One is for ticket dismissal and the other is for auto insurance premium reduction.  You may register for the internet defensive driving course on any computer with internet access, and you are free to start and stop as often as you'd like, and resume from wherever you left off.  The internet defensive driving program is divided into several chapters, and at the end of each chapter you will need to complete a short, multiple-choice quiz which will assist you in preparing for the final exam. Once you satisfactorily finish the final exam, GetDefensive.com will give to you a completion certificate which will be sent to you via the mailing method that you select at the time of registration.
I would like to enroll in GetDefensive.com’s internet defensive driving program for ticket dismissal. Do I qualify to receive any auto insurance premium reduction?
Yes, it is likely.  Although we do recommend that you contact your local auto insurance agent before registering for the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online course.  We can tell you that many auto insurance carriers offer reductions of up to 10% to policyholders who successfully complete the GetDefensive.com defensive driving program.   Also, customers who do pass our online defensive driving course for ticket dismissal get two (2) copies of his or her completion certificate -- one to present to the court and one to submit to his or her auto insurance agent.
Do I need to log in to the exact same computer when I finish the remainder of the GetDefensive.com Texas defensive driving online class?
No.  As long as the computer has internet access, you may finish GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving internet class from any computer.  You are permitted to use multiple computers if you want to, but you will need to make sure that each computer is equipped with the flash and browser features that are required. GetDefensive.com will run a brief scan on any computer that you log into for the initial time to make sure that it has the necessary software installed.  The defensive driving online class can fit into a full schedule! 
I have a demanding job, and I have constant interruptions during the day. Am I allowed to start and stop the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online course, and then resume where I left off?
Yes, you may take breaks as needed when you take GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving online course.  You do not need to take the program all at once.  When you do need to take a break, you can then resume where you left off.  GetDefensive.com’s class is flexible, and can be arranged around your busy schedule!
My court needs to obtain the Texas certificate of completion when I satisfactorily complete the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online course. How can they receive it?
When you successfully pass the GetDefensive.com Texas online defensive driving class, the certificate of completion will be sent via regular mail to the mailing address that you provided at registration.  However, please remember that you must take it to the court by or before the court due date.

If I need to complete GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving online course, how can I learn if my traffic citation is eligible for dismissal by my local court?
GetDefensive.com is 100% accepted by every court in the State of Texas for online ticket dismissal.  If your traffic citation qualifies for dismissal, your court will notify you as to when you have to finish a defensive driving course.  You may also be eligible for a 10% auto insurance discount through your insurance carrier if you satisfactorily finish the online defensive driving class at GetDefensive.com; however, we advise that you first contact your local auto insurance agent.
I just obtained another traffic ticket this year, but I really want a clear Texas driver record. How often may I complete a defensive driving internet program for ticket dismissal?
Texas State Law prohibits you from removing a second traffic citation every twelve (12) months. If you are not certain as to when you last finished the internet defensive driving class, we highly recommend that you contact the traffic court to verify if you currently are eligible to go through GetDefensive.com's  defensive driving internet class.
How many quizzes are there in GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving online class, and do they go against my final grade?
There is a short quiz following each chapter in GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving online course.  The quizzes are important and are meant to help in preparing you for the defensive driving final examination, but they do not count against your total grade in the online defensive driving program.
I want to take the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online course to keep a traffic citation off of my Texas driver record, but how can I be certain if my local court accepts it?
The GetDefensive.com defensive driving course is certified by the State of Texas, and can be taken instead of the defensive driving program in a traditional classroom setting.  If you complete GetDefensive.com's online defensive driving class, you do not have to set aside time to attend and sit through any lengthy classroom instruction. We also offer Texas Drug and Alcohol Awareness Programs. The GetDefensive.com course is convenient for an active lifestyle!
