Prices may vary by format for GetDefensive.com’s Texas internet defensive driving courses.  The price may be slightly more if you choose the defensive driving DVD or the defensive driving streaming video.  For the defensive driving class, the price is the lowest possible price under State law, and this includes the shipping of your Texas completion certificate that will be sent via regular US mail.
I need to finish an online defensive driving program soon. How does GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving online course work?
GetDefensive.com offers two (2) types of internet defensive driving classes - one is for ticket dismissal and the other is for auto insurance premium reduction.  You may enroll in GetDefensive.com’s online defensive driving program on any computer with internet access.  You are free to start and stop as often as you'd like, and then pick up from wherever you left off.  The internet defensive driving class is divided into several chapters, and at the end of each chapter you will need to complete a brief, multiple-choice quiz which will help you in getting ready for the final exam. When you pass the final exam, GetDefensive.com will issue to you a certificate of completion which will be mailed to you via the shipping method that you pick at registration.
If I successfully complete the GetDefensive.com defensive driving course, am I eligible to receive any auto insurance premium reduction?
Yes, it is likely.  Although we do advise that you check with your local auto insurance agent prior to taking the GetDefensive.com defensive driving internet program.  Also, it is important to know that many auto insurance carriers offer reductions of up to 10% to policyholders who satisfactorily finish the GetDefensive.com defensive driving program.   Also, customers who get through our internet defensive driving course for ticket dismissal get two (2) copies of his or her certificate of completion--one to submit to the court and one to submit to his or her auto insurance agent.
Do I need to work from the exact same computer every time that I log in to the GetDefensive.com Texas defensive driving online program?
No, you can take the GetDefensive.com online defensive driving class from any computer with online access.  You are permitted to use multiple computers if you want to, but you will have to be certain that each computer has the flash and browser features that are needed. GetDefensive.com will run a brief scan on any computer that you log into for the first time to make sure that it has the necessary software installed.  
My schedule does not allow me to take GetDefensive.com’s Texas defensive driving internet course in one sitting. Am I permitted to start and stop the course frequently if I cannot take it all at one time?
Yes, you may start and stop as necessary when you complete the GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving internet course.    You do not have to take the class all at one time.  When you do want to take a break, you can then resume where you left off.  GetDefensive.com’s class is flexible, and can be worked into your hectic schedule!
I need to advise the court that I have completed the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online course. Is the Texas completion certificate sent directly to my local court?
No.  After you have passed the Texas internet defensive driving course, GetDefensive.com will mail the completion certificate to the shipping address that you entered at registration.  Keep in mind that you must present it to the court by or before the court due date.
 
I want to complete a defensive driving online class. Is GetDefensive.com court approved?
Yes.  GetDefensive.com is 100% accepted by every court in the State of Texas for internet ticket dismissal.  If you are qualify for ticket dismissal, your court will let you know you as to when you must complete a defensive driving program.  Also, if you satisfactorily take the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online program, you may qualify for a 10% auto insurance discount through your insurance carrier; however, we strongly recommend that you first consult with your local auto insurance agent.
I would prefer to keep my recent traffic ticket off of my Texas driver record. What are the eligibility requirements for taking GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving online class?
State Law in Texas restricts you from removing a second traffic ticket every twelve (12) months. If you are not sure when you last successfully went through the internet defensive driving course, we recommend that you contact the traffic court to find out if you currently are eligible to finish GetDefensive.com's defensive driving internet class.
Do the quizzes go against my total score in GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving online class?
No.  There is a short quiz following each chapter in GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving online course.  The quizzes do not weigh against your final class grade.  They are designed to help in getting you ready for the final exam.
I am required to take the GetDefensive.com Texas defensive driving online class, but is it equivalent to taking a traditional defensive driving program in a classroom setting?
