Prices may vary by format  for GetDefensive.com’s internet defensive driving classes.  The cost may be slightly more if you choose the defensive driving DVD or the defensive driving streaming video.  For the internet defensive driving class, the price is the lowest possible price under State law, and this includes the mailing of your Texas certificate of completion that will be mailed.
Can you explain to me how the class works for the GetDefensive.com Texas defensive driving online course?
There are two (2) types of online defensive driving courses that are available - one is for ticket dismissal and the other is for auto insurance premium reduction.  You are allowed to take the internet defensive driving course on any computer with internet access, and you are free to start and stop as often as you'd like, and pick up from wherever you left off.  The online defensive driving class is divided into several chapters, and at the end of each chapter you will be given a short, multiple-choice quiz which will help in preparing you for the final exam. Once you satisfactorily complete the final exam, GetDefensive.com will issue you a completion certificate which will be sent to you via the shipping method that you choose at the time of registration.
Is there any guarantee that I will get an auto insurance premium reduction when I successfully complete GetDefensive.com’s Texas defensive driving online course?
It is probable, but not guaranteed.  Although we do urge that you check with your local auto insurance agent before taking the GetDefensive.com Texas defensive driving internet program.  It is helpful to know that many auto insurance carriers offer discounts| of up to 10% to policyholders who successfully finish the GetDefensive.com defensive driving class.   Also, customers who pass our online defensive driving course for ticket dismissal get two (2) copies of his or her completion certificate--one to submit to the court and one to give to his or her auto insurance agent.
I travel with my job often. May I switch computers while I am completing GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving internet class?
Yes!  GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving internet class can be taken from any computer with online access.  You may work from multiple computers if you need to do so, but you will need to make sure that each computer is equipped with the flash and browser features that are required. GetDefensive.com will run a short scan on any computer that you log into for the initial time to make certain that it has the needed software installed.  GetDefensive.com can easily work into a hectic daily routine!
I am a busy parent and I may have an issue with focusing on a defensive driving class if I have to finish it all at once. Am I allowed to start and stop GetDefensive.com’s Texas defensive driving online program, and then resume where I left off?
Yes, you may start and stop as needed when you complete the GetDefensive.com defensive driving internet class.  You do not have to complete the program all at once.  When you do have to take a break, you can then resume where you left off.  GetDefensive.com’s class is flexible, and can be worked into your busy schedule!
Is it my responsibility to submit the Texas certificate of completion to my court when I successfully finish the GetDefensive.com defensive driving internet class?
Yes.  After you successfully pass GetDefensive.com's Texas online defensive driving class, the certificate of completion will be mailed to the mailing address that you provided at registration.  Keep in mind that you will have to present it to the court by or before the court due date.

Yes!  GetDefensive.com is 100% approved by every court in the State of Texas for online ticket dismissal.  If your traffic ticket is eligible for dismissal, your court will notify you as to when you must finish a defensive driving course.  You may also be eligible for a 10% auto insurance discount through your insurance carrier if you successfully meet the requirements of the online defensive driving course at GetDefensive.com; however, we strongly advise that you first check with your local auto insurance agent.
I prefer that my recent traffic citation is not made a part of my Texas driver record. Do I qualify to complete GetDefensive.com’s Texas internet defensive driving program if I have not finished an online defensive driving class in over 1 year?
Yes, if it has been over one (1) year since you completed an internet defensive driving program, then you are eligible.  Texas State Law prevents you from removing a second traffic ticket every twelve (12) months. If you are unclear as to when you last satisfactorily completed the online defensive driving course, we strongly recommend that you contact the traffic court to find out if you definitely qualify to take GetDefensive.com's defensive driving online course.
Are the quizzes graded in GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving online course, and are they included in my total score?
There is a brief quiz after each chapter in GetDefensive.com's defensive driving online class.  The quizzes are important and are designed to help you in preparing you for the defensive driving final examination.  However, they will not count against your total score in the online defensive driving program.
I am a parent that is very active, and do not have time to sit through a traditional defensive driving classroom course. If I complete the GetDefensive.com defensive driving program online, how can I be assured that it is accepted by my local court?
