The cost may vary by format for GetDefensive.com’s Texas internet defensive driving classes.  The price may be slightly more if you choose the defensive driving DVD or the defensive driving streaming video.  For the internet defensive driving course, the price is the lowest possible price under State law, and this includes the mailing of the Texas certificate of completion that will be sent via regular US mail.
I recenty got a traffic ticket that I want to keep off of my Texas driver record. How does this course work when I register for GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving online course?
GetDefensive.com offers two (2) types of internet defensive driving classes - one is for ticket dismissal and the other is for auto insurance premium reduction.  You are allowed to take GetDefensive.com’s online defensive driving course on any computer with online access.  You are free to start and stop as often as you'd prefer, and then resume from wherever you left off.  The online defensive driving course is divided into several chapters, and at the end of each chapter you will need to complete a short, multiple-choice quiz which will help prepare you for the final exam. When you pass the final exam, GetDefensive.com will issue to you a certificate of completion which will be mailed to you via the mailing method that you pick at registration.
It is essential that I am eligible for some auto insurance premium reduction. Is this feasible when I register for GetDefensive.com’s Texas defensive driving online course?
It is feasible.  Although we do recommend that you consult with your local auto insurance agent before registering for the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online course.  It is helpful to know that many insurance carriers offer reductions of up to 10% to policyholders who successfully finish the GetDefensive.com internet defensive driving class.   Also, customers who get through our online defensive driving class for ticket dismissal get two (2) copies of his or her certificate of completion--one to give to the court and one to present to his or her auto insurance agent.
Am I permitted to start the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online class on my laptop computer while I’m traveling, and then finish up the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online course from another computer?
Of course!  GetDefensive.com’s internet defensive driving online course may be finished from any computer with online access.  You may work from multiple computers if you need to, but you will have to make sure that each computer is equipped with the flash and browser features that are required. GetDefensive.com will run a quick scan on any computer that you log into for the initial time to make sure that it has the necessary software installed.
I have a really full schedule and I may have to take repeated breaks when I finish GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving class over the internet. Is this possible, or do I have to complete it all at one time?
You can take frequent breaks when you complete the GetDefensive.com defensive driving internetclass program.  You do not have to finish the course all at one time, and you may stop and start whenever you need to.  You can then resume where you left off.  GetDefensive.com has your busy schedule in mind!
I need to advise the court that I have completed the GetDefensive.com defensive driving internet course. Is the Texas completion certificate sent directly to my local court?
No.  After you have passed the Texas internet defensive driving course, GetDefensive.com will mail the certificate of completion to the mailing address that you provided at registration.  Please remember that you are responsible for delivering it to the court by or before the court due date.
 
I have to sign up GetDefensive.com’s Texas internet defensive driving program. How can I learn if I qualify for online ticket dismissal or insurance reduction?
GetDefensive.com is 100% accepted by every court in the State of Texas for internet ticket dismissal.  If your traffic citation is eligible for dismissal, your court will advise you as to when you need to complete a defensive driving course.  You may also qualify for a 10% auto insurance discount through your insurance carrier if you satisfactorilyfulfill the requirements of the online defensive driving class at GetDefensive.com; however, we strongly urge that you first check with your local auto insurance agent.
I recently picked up a traffic violation. Am I eligible to complete GetDefensive.com’s Texas online defensive driving course if I have not finished an online defensive driving course in over 1 year?
Yes, if it has been over one (1) year since you took an online defensive driving class, then you qualify.  Texas State Law prohibits you from dismissing a second traffic citation every twelve (12) months. If you are uncertain as to when you last satisfactorily took the online defensive driving class, we urge that you call the traffic court to learn if you are eligible to complete GetDefensive.com's  defensive driving online program.
How many quizzes are there in GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving internet course, and do they weigh against my final score?
There is a brief quiz following each chapter in GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving online course.  The quizzes are essential and are designed to assist in getting you ready for the defensive driving final examination, but they do not weigh against your total grade in the online defensive driving class.
I am really on the go and do not have time to sit through a traditional defensive driving class in a classroom setting. If I take the GetDefensive.com defensive driving course online, how can I be certain that it is approved by my local court?
