GetDefensive.com offers Texas online defensive driving courses, and the cost may vary by format.   If you choose the defensive driving DVD or the defensive driving streaming video, the cost may be slightly more.   For the defensive driving class, the cost is the lowest possible price under State law, and this includes the shipping of the Texas certificate of completion via regular US mail.
Can you verify how the GetDefensive.com Texas defensive driving internet program works, and what do I have to do after registration?
There are two (2) types of online defensive driving classes available - one is for ticket dismissal and the other is for insurance premium reduction.  You may take the internet defensive driving course on any computer with online access, and you may to start and stop as often as you would like, and pick up from wherever you left off.  The online defensive driving program is divided into several chapters, and at the end of each chapter you will be issued a short, multiple-choice quiz which will help you in preparing you for the final exam. Once you pass the final exam, GetDefensive.com will issue you a certificate of completion which will be mailed to you via the mailing method that you select at the time of registration.

Is there any guarantee that I will receive an auto insurance premium reduction when I successfully complete GetDefensive.com’s Texas defensive driving online course?
It is probable, but not guaranteed.  Although we do advise that you check with your local auto insurance agent before registering for the GetDefensive.com Texas defensive driving internet program.  It is helpful to know that many auto insurance carriers offer discounts| of up to 10% to policyholders who successfully complete the GetDefensive.com defensive driving class.   Also, customers who pass our internet defensive driving course for ticket dismissal get two (2) copies of his or her certificate of completion--one to submit to the court and one to submit to his or her auto insurance agent.
I have a hectic schedule, and may need to finish the GetDefensive.com Texas defensive driving online course from two different computers. Is this allowed?
Absolutely!  You can complete the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online class from more than one (1) computer if you need to, but you will have to besure that each computer is equipped with the flash and browser features that are needed. GetDefensive.com will run a brief scan on any computer that you log into for the first time to make sure that it has the applicable software installed.
I’d rather not go through a traditional defensive driving classroom program. Do I have to get through GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving internet course all at once, or can I take breaks as needed?
You are permitted to take frequent breaks when you finish the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online program.  You do not have to finish the class all at one time, and you may stop whenever you need to.  You can then resume where you left off.  GetDefensive.com has your full schedule in mind!
How can I get the Texas certificate of completion after I am done with the GetDefensive.com internet defensive driving class?
When you have successfully finished the Texas internet defensive driving course, GetDefensive.com will send the completion certificate to the shipping address that you entered when you signed up to take the class.  However, keep in mind that you are responsible for delivering the certificate of completion to the court by or before the court due date.
