I went through a traditional classroom defensive driving program over 1 year ago. Since I not aware of internet defensive driving courses, can you let me know what I am required to do after enrolling in the GetDefensive.com defensive driving internet program?
There are two (2) types of internet defensive driving classes that are available - one is for ticket dismissal and the other is for auto insurance premium reduction.  You may start the internet defensive driving course on any computer with internet access, and you are permitted to start and stop as often as you'd prefer, and pick up from wherever you left off.  The online defensive driving course is divided into several chapters, and at the end of each chapter you will be given a short, multiple-choice quiz which will help you in preparing for the final exam. Once you successfully finish the final exam, GetDefensive.com will present to you a certificate of completion which will be sent to you via the mailing method that you choose at the time of registration.
My auto insurance premiums are higher than normal due to a prior traffic ticket. Do I qualify for any auto insurance reduction when I take GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving internet course?
Although we do advise that you consult with your local auto insurance agent prior to starting the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online class.  It is important to know that many auto insurance carriers offer reductions of up to 10% to policyholders who successfully complete the GetDefensive.com internet defensive driving course.   Also, customers who successfully complete our internet defensive driving class for ticket dismissal get two (2) copies of his or her certificate of completion -- one to submit to the court and one to give to his or her auto insurance agent.
I am busy with new job challenges at work. I may want to complete the GetDefensive.com Texas defensive driving internet course from another computer. Is this possible?

Yes!  GetDefensive.com is 100% approved by every court in the State of Texas for internet ticket dismissal.  If you are eligible for ticket dismissal, your court will advise you as to when you must complete a defensive driving class.  Also, if you successfully complete the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online course, you may qualify for a 10% auto insurance discount through your insurance carrier; however, we strongly urge that you first contact your local auto insurance agent.
I recently obtained a traffic violation. Am I eligible to go through GetDefensive.com’s Texas internet defensive driving course if I have not taken an online defensive driving program in over 1 year?
Yes, if it has been over one (1) year since you finished an internet defensive driving course, then you qualify.  Texas State Law prohibits you from removing more than one (1) traffic citation every twelve (12) months. If you are uncertain as to when you last satisfactorily completed the online defensive driving program, we recommend that you consult with the traffic court to confirm if you qualify to finish GetDefensive.com's  defensive driving internet program.
How can I still pass the GetDefensive.com Texas defensive driving internet course if I incorrectly answer many of the quiz questions?
It is still possible.  The quizzes are important and assist in preparing you for GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving internet course final exam, but they will not weigh against your total course score.
I want to take the GetDefensive.com defensive driving internet course to keep a traffic ticket off of my Texas driver record, but how can I be certain if my local court approves it?
The GetDefensive.com defensive driving class is certified by the State of Texas, and can be taken instead of the defensive driving course in a traditional classroom setting.  If you complete GetDefensive.com's online defensive driving course, you do not have to take time out to attend and sit through any long classroom instruction. We also offer Texas Drug and Alcohol Awareness Programs.
