The cost may vary by format for GetDefensive.com’s Texas online defensive driving courses.  The price may be slightly more if you select the defensive driving DVD or the defensive driving streaming video.  For the internet defensive driving class, the cost is the minimum allowed price under State law, and this includes the shipping of the Texas completion certificate that will be sent via regular US mail.
I recenty got a traffic ticket that I need to keep off of my Texas driver record. How does this program work when I enroll in GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving internet program?
GetDefensive.com offers two (2) types of online defensive driving classes - one is for ticket dismissal and the other is for auto insurance premium reduction.  You are allowed to take GetDefensive.com’s internet defensive driving course on any computer with internet access.  You are permitted to start and stop as often as you'd prefer, and then pick up from wherever you left off.  The internet defensive driving course is divided into several chapters, and at the end of each chapter you will be given a brief, multiple-choice quiz which will help prepare you for the final exam. When you successfully finish the final exam, GetDefensive.com will present to you a certificate of completion which will be mailed to you via the shipping method that you select at registration.
If I successfully complete the GetDefensive.com defensive driving program, do I qualify to receive any auto insurance premium reduction?
Yes, it is probable.  Although we do recommend that you check with your local auto insurance agent before taking the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online class.  Also, it is important to know that many auto insurance carriers offer discounts of up to 10% to policyholders who satisfactorily finish the GetDefensive.com defensive driving course.   Also, customers who get through our internet defensive driving course for ticket dismissal get two (2) copies of his or her certificate of completion--one to submit to the court and one to submit to his or her auto insurance agent.
Do I have to work from the exact same computer every time that I log in to the GetDefensive.com Texas defensive driving internet class?
No, you may take the GetDefensive.com internet defensive driving class from any computer with online access.  You are allowed to use multiple computers if you want to, but you will need to make sure that every computer has the flash and browser features that are required. GetDefensive.com will run a quick scan on any computer that you log into for the initial time to be certain that it has the necessary software installed.  
I have a really busy schedule and I may have to take several breaks when I complete GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving program online. Is this possible, or do I have to complete it all at one time?
You may take repeated breaks when you take the GetDefensive.com defensive driving internetprogram class.  You do not have to complete the course all at one time, and you may stop and start whenever you have to.  You can then resume where you left off.  GetDefensive.com has your busy schedule in mind!
Where is my Texas completion certificate delivered to after I complete the GetDefensive.com online defensive driving course?
After you successfully pass the GetDefensive.com Texas internet defensive driving course, the completion certificate will be sent via regular mail to the mailing address that you provided at registration.  However, keep in mind that you are responsible for delivering it to the court by or before the court due date.

Can you confirm if GetDefensive.com's Texas internet defensive driving program is court approved?
Yes!  GetDefensive.com is 100% approved by every court in the State of Texas for internet ticket dismissal.  If your traffic citation qualifies for dismissal, your court will inform you as to when you must take a defensive driving course.  You may also qualify for a 10% auto insurance discount through your insurance carrier if you satisfactorily finish the internet defensive driving course at GetDefensive.com; however, we strongly recommend that you first call your local auto insurance agent.
I attended a traditional defensive driving classroom course nearly 2 years ago. Am I eligible to finish GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving class for ticket dismissal?
Yes.  State Law in Texas restricts you from removing more than one (1) traffic ticket every twelve (12) months. If you are not certain as to when you last took the internet defensive driving course, we strongly advise that you consult with the traffic court to verify if you currently qualify to take GetDefensive.com's  defensive driving online program.
Can you tell me if the GetDefensive.com defensive driving internet class quizzes weigh against my overall score?
No.  There is a short quiz after each chapter in GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving internet course.  The quizzes are designed to prepare you for the defensive driving final examination.  They do not count against your total score in the online defensive driving course.
If I finish the GetDefensive.com Texas internet defensive driving class, is it equivalent to taking a defensive driving program in an actual classroom setting, and how do I know if my local court accepts it?
GetDefensive.com’s online defensive driving course is certified by the State of Texas as an equivalent to the traditional defensive driving classroom course.  Also, when you take GetDefensive.com's online defensive driving class, you do not have to take time out to attend and sit through any lengthy classroom instruction.
