GetDefensive.com offers Texas internet defensive driving courses and online auto insurance reduction courses, and the price may vary by format.   If you choose the defensive driving DVD or the defensive driving streaming video, the cost may be slightly higher.   For the internet defensive driving course, the price is the minimum allowed under State law, and this includes the mailing of the Texas certificate of completion that will be sent via regular US mail.

I recently received a traffic citation and want to sign up for GetDefensive.com’s Texas defensive driving internet class for ticket dismissal. What are the steps to successfully complete the online defensive driving course?
GetDefensive.com offers two (2) types of internet defensive driving classes - one is for ticket dismissal and the other is for auto insurance premium reduction.  You may take GetDefensive.com’s internet defensive driving class on any computer with online access.  You are allowed to start and stop as often as you'd like, and then pick up from wherever you left off.  The online defensive driving course is divided into several chapters, and at the end of each chapter you will be given a short, multiple-choice quiz which will help you in preparing for the final exam. When you favorably complete the final exam, GetDefensive.com will present to you a certificate of completion which will be sent to you via the mailing method that you select at registration.
May I possibly have my auto insurance premiums reduced when I register for GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving online class?
Yes, it is feasible.  Although we do advise that you consult with your local auto insurance agent before signing up for the GetDefensive.com Texas internet defensive driving course.  We can tell you that many insurance carriers offer discounts of up to 10% to policyholders who satisfactorily finish the GetDefensive.com defensive driving program.   Also, customers who get through our online defensive driving class for ticket dismissal get two (2) copies of his or her certificate of completion -- one to submit to the court and one to give to his or her auto insurance agent.
I have a very full schedule, and may need to take GetDefensive.com’s Texas defensive driving internet class from two different computers. Am I permitted to do so?
Yes!  You may complete the GetDefensive.com defensive driving internet course from multiple computers if you have to, but you will need to be certain that every computer has the flash and browser features that are required. GetDefensive.com will run a quick scan on any computer that you log into for the first time to make sure that it has the applicable software installed.
My schedule does not permit me to take GetDefensive.com’s Texas defensive driving internet course in one sitting. Am I allowed to start and stop the class often if I cannot finish it all at one time?
Yes, you may start and stop as needed when you finish the GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving internet class.    You do not need to take the class all at once.  When you do have to take a break, you can then resume where you left off.  GetDefensive.com’s program is flexible, and can be worked into your full schedule!
After I successfully pass GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving internet final exam, is the Texas certificate of completion sent directly to my court?
When you successfully complete the Texas internet defensive driving course, GetDefensive.com will send the completion certificate to the mailing address that you entered when you signed up.  However, you will have to deliver it to the court by or before the court due date.

GetDefensive.com is 100% approved by every court in the State of Texas for internet ticket dismissal.  If you qualify for ticket dismissal, your court will notify you as to when you need to complete a defensive driving program.  Also, if you successfully finish the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online course, you may qualify for a 10% auto insurance discount through your insurance carrier; however, we strongly suggest that you first contact your local auto insurance agent.

Texas State Law prohibits you from removing a second traffic citation every twelve (12) months.
