The cost may vary by format for GetDefensive.com’s Texas online defensive driving classes and internet auto insurance reduction classes.  The price may be slightly more if you choose the defensive driving DVD or the defensive driving streaming video.  For the online defensive driving course, the price is the minimum allowed cost under State law, and this includes the mailing of the Texas completion certificate that will be sent via regular US mail.
After I sign up for GetDefensive.com’s Texas defensive driving course, what is the next step in the process of satisfactorily finishing the internet defensive driving course?
Basically, there are two (2) types of online defensive driving classes that are available - one is for ticket dismissal and the other is for auto insurance premium reduction.  You may register for the internet defensive driving course on any computer with internet access, and you are free to start and stop as frequently as you'd prefer, and resume from wherever you left off.  The online defensive driving course is divided into several chapters, and at the end of each chapter you will need to complete a brief, multiple-choice quiz which will help you in preparing for the final exam. Once you pass the final exam, GetDefensive.com will present to you a completion certificate which will be mailed to you via the mailing method that you choose at the time of registration.
I want to take GetDefensive.com’s online defensive driving class for ticket dismissal purposes. Is it possible to receive an auto insurance premium reduction?
Yes.  Although we do recommend that you consult with your local auto insurance agent before taking the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online program.  We can tell you that many auto insurance carriers offer discounts of up to 10% to policyholders who successfully complete the GetDefensive.com defensive driving program.   Also, customers who pass our online defensive driving class for ticket dismissal get two (2) copies of his or her completion certificate--one to submit to the court and one to present to his or her auto insurance agent.
Do I have to log in to the exact same computer when I complete the remainder of the GetDefensive.com Texas defensive driving internet class?
No.  As long as the computer has internet access, you may complete GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving online class from any computer.  You are allowed to use multiple computers if you have to, but you will need to make sure that each computer has the flash and browser features that are required. GetDefensive.com will run a quick scan on any computer that you log into for the initial time to make sure that it has the required software installed.  The defensive driving internet program can fit into a busy schedule! 
My work schedule does not allow me to take GetDefensive.com’s Texas defensive driving internet program in one sitting. Am I permitted to take a break from the program when necessary?
Yes, you may start and stop as needed when you take the GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving internet class.  You do not need to finish the class all at one time.  When you do need to take a break, you can then resume where you left off.  GetDefensive.com’s class is flexible, and it may be arranged around your full schedule!
I am worried that my traffic ticket may get added to my Texas driver record. Is the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online course certificate of completion sent directly to me?
When you successfully complete the Texas online defensive driving course, GetDefensive.com will mail the completion certificate to the mailing address that you provided when you registered for the course.  However, please note that you will have to present it to the court by or before the court due date.

Yes!  GetDefensive.com is 100% approved by every court in the State of Texas for internet ticket dismissal.  If you qualify for ticket dismissal, your court will advise you as to when you must take a defensive driving program.  Also, if you satisfactorily meet the requirements of the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online class, you may be eligible for a 10% auto insurance discount through your insurance carrier; however, we strongly recommend that you first check with your local auto insurance agent.
I need to complete a defensive driving online class for ticket dismissal purposes. How can I verify whether I qualify to take GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving internet program?
State Law in Texas restricts you from removing more than one (1) traffic ticket every twelve (12) months. If you are not sure as to when you last successfully finished the internet defensive driving class, we stress that you consult with the traffic court to verify if you  currently qualify to finish GetDefensive.com's defensive driving online course.

It is possible.  The quizzes are required and are important, and they help in getting you ready for GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving final examination.  However, they will not count against your overall score in the online defensive driving course.
