The cost may vary by format for GetDefensive.com’s Texas internet defensive driving courses.  The cost may be slightly higher if you select the defensive driving DVD or the defensive driving streaming video.  For the online defensive driving course, the cost is the minimum allowed cost under State law, and this includes the mailing of the Texas certificate of completion that will be sent via regular US mail.
I recently received a traffic ticket and would like to sign up for GetDefensive.com’s Texas defensive driving online class for ticket dismissal. What is the process to satisfactorily finish the internet defensive driving course?
GetDefensive.com offers two (2) types of internet defensive driving classes - one is for ticket dismissal and the other is for auto insurance premium reduction.  You may enroll in GetDefensive.com’s internet defensive driving course on any computer with internet access.  You are allowed to start and stop as often as you'd prefer, and then pick up from wherever you left off.  The online defensive driving class is divided into several chapters, and at the end of each chapter you will need to take a short, multiple-choice quiz which will help you in preparing for the final exam. When you favorably complete the final exam, GetDefensive.com will present to you a completion certificate which will be mailed to you via the shipping method that you select at registration.
If I satisfactorily get through GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving internet course, am I eligible to receive an auto insurance premium reduction?
Yes, it is probable.  Although we do recommend that you check with your auto local insurance agent before enrolling in the GetDefensive.com defensive driving internet course.  It is helpful to know that many auto insurance carriers offer discounts of up to 10% to policyholders who successfully complete the GetDefensive.com defensive driving course.   Also, customers who pass our online defensive driving course for ticket dismissal get two (2) copies of his or her certificate of completion--one to give to the court and one to submit to his or her auto insurance agent.
Do I have to use the same computer when I complete the GetDefensive.com defensive driving internet class?
No.  GetDefensive.com’s internet defensive driving course can be taken from any computer, as long as it has internet access.  You may use multiple computers if you have to do so, but you will have to make sure that each computer has the flash and browser features that are required.  GetDefensive.com will run a quick scan on any computer that you log into for the first time to make sure that it has the required software installed.  The defensive driving course can easily fit into anyone’s schedule!
I need to complete GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving course online, but I may have to take it gradually over my lunch breaks. Am I permitted to start and stop the program when needed, and then resume where I left off?

No.  State Law in Texas definitely restricts you from removing more than one (1) traffic citation every twelve (12) months. If you are not clear as to when you last completed the online defensive driving program, we advise that you contact the traffic court to find out if you currently qualify to complete GetDefensive.com's defensive driving internet class.
Can you tell me how many quizzes there are in GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving online class?
At GetDefensive.com, there is a brief quiz following each internet defensive driving class chapter.  Each quiz is selected to help you in preparing for the defensive driving final exam.  The quizzes do not weigh against your overall score in the internet defensive driving class.
