GetDefensive.com offers Texas online defensive driving classes,  and the cost may vary by format.   If you choose the defensive driving DVD or the defensive driving streaming video, the cost may be more.   For the defensive driving class, the price is the lowest possible price under State law, and this includes the shipping of your Texas completion certificate that will be sent mailed.
I want to sign up for the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online defensive driving class in the next week. Will you tell me what is the process after registration?
Basically, there are two (2) types of internet defensive driving classes that are available.  One is for ticket dismissal and the other is for auto insurance premium reduction.  You are allowed to finish the internet defensive driving class on any computer with internet access, and you are free to start and stop as often as you'd prefer, and pick up from wherever you left off.  The internet defensive driving class is divided into several chapters, and at the end of each chapter you will be given a short, multiple-choice quiz which will assist you in preparing for the final exam. Once you successfully complete the final exam, GetDefensive.com will issue you a certificate of completion which will be sent to you via the mailing method that you select at the time of registration.
Is it feasible to have my auto insurance premiums reduced when I take GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving online program?
Yes, it is feasible.  Although we do recommend that you consult with your local auto insurance agent before taking the GetDefensive.com Texas internet defensive driving course.  We can tell you that numerous insurance carriers offer reductions of up to 10% to policyholders who pass the GetDefensive.com defensive driving course.   Also, customers who pass our internet defensive driving course for ticket dismissal get two (2) copies of his or her certificate of completion -- one to submit to the court and one to give to his or her auto insurance agent.
Am I allowed to take the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online course on my laptop computer while I’m traveling, and then complete the GetDefensive.com defensive driving internet class from another computer?
Of course!  GetDefensive.com’s internet defensive driving internet class can be completed from any computer with internet access.  You may work from multiple computers if you have to, but you will need to make sure that each computer has the flash and browser features that are needed. GetDefensive.com will run a brief scan on any computer that you log into for the first time to be certain that it has the required software installed.
I’d rather not sit through a traditional defensive driving classroom course. Is it necessary for me to get through GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving internet class all at once, or may I take breaks as needed?
You may take frequent breaks when you take the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online program.  You are not required to take the course all at one time, and you may stop whenever you need to.  You can then resume where you left off.  GetDefensive.com has your busy schedule in mind!
I need to advise the court that I have successfully finished the GetDefensive.com defensive driving internet course. Is the Texas completion certificate sent directly to my local court?
No.  After you have passed the Texas internet defensive driving class, GetDefensive.com will send via regular mail the completion certificate to the shipping address that you entered when you signed up.  Keep in mind that you will have to take it to the court by or before the court due date.
 
If I need to sign up for GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving online course, how can I learn if my traffic citation is eligible for dismissal by my local court?
GetDefensive.com is 100% approved by every court in the State of Texas for internet ticket dismissal.  If your traffic citation qualifies for dismissal, your court will inform you as to when you need to complete a defensive driving class.  You may also qualify for a 10% auto insurance discount through your insurance carrier if you satisfactorily meet the requirements of the internet defensive driving class at GetDefensive.com; however, we recommend that you first call your local auto insurance agent.
I just received an additional traffic citation this year, and I’d prefer that my Texas driver record remain clear. What are the eligibility requirements for going through the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online class?
State Law in Texas prevents you from dismissing a second traffic ticket every twelve (12) months. If you are not clear as to when you last signed up for an online defensive driving course, we highly recommend that you contact the traffic court to confirm if you currently are eligible to take GetDefensive.com's defensive driving internet class.
If I do not satisfactorily get through the quizzes in GetDefensive.com’s Texas defensive driving online class, am I still able to successfully complete the online defensive driving program?
It is possible.  There is a short quiz after each chapter in GetDefensive.com's internet defensive driving class.  The quizzes are meant to get you ready for the defensive driving final exam, but they do not weigh against your overall score in the online defensive driving class.
I have to take the GetDefensive.com defensive driving class over the internet, but how do I know for certain that my local court accepts it?
The GetDefensive.com defensive driving program is certified by the State of Texas, and can be taken instead of the defensive driving program in a traditional classroom setting.  If you take GetDefensive.com's online defensive driving class, you do not have to plan to attend and sit through any long classroom instruction. We also offer Texas Drug and Alcohol Awareness Programs.
