I have a traffic ticket that I want to dismiss soon, but I’m not certain how the class works. What do I need to do after registration for GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving internet class?
GetDefensive.com offers two (2) types of internet defensive driving courses available - one is for ticket dismissal and the other is for insurance premium reduction.  You may complete GetDefensive.com’s online defensive driving class on any computer with internet access.  You are free to start and stop as often as you'd prefer, and then pick up from wherever you left off.  The internet defensive driving course is divided into several chapters, and at the end of each chapter you will be given a short, multiple-choice quiz which will help in preparing you for the final exam. When you successfully finish the final exam, GetDefensive.com will issue you a certificate of completion which will be mailed to you via the shipping method that you choose at registration.
May I possibly have my auto insurance premiums reduced when I register for GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving internet program?
Yes, it is possible.  Although we do recommend that you check with your local auto insurance agent before starting the GetDefensive.com Texas internet defensive driving class.  It is helpful to know that numerous insurance carriers offer discounts of up to 10% to policyholders who pass the GetDefensive.com defensive driving course.   Also, customers who pass our internet defensive driving course for ticket dismissal get two (2) copies of his or her certificate of completion -- one to submit to the court and one to submit to his or her auto insurance agent.
Am I permitted to begin the GetDefensive.com defensive driving internet course on my laptop computer while I’m traveling, and then complete it from another computer?
Yes!  GetDefensive.com’s online defensive driving course can be finished from any computer with online access.  You may work from multiple computers if you need to, but you will need to be certain that each computer is equipped with the flash and browser features that are required. GetDefensive.com will run a short scan on any computer that you log into for the first time to be certain that it has the applicable software installed.  GetDefensive.com can easily work into a busy schedule!

My court needs to get the Texas certificate of completion when I successfully finish the GetDefensive.com defensive driving internet class. How can they receive it?
When you successfully complete the GetDefensive.com Texas internet defensive driving course, the certificate of completion will be sent via regular mail to the shipping address that you provided when you signed up.  However, keep in mind that you will have to present it to the court by or before the court due date.

If I sign up for GetDefensive.com’s Texas defensive driving online program, how do I know if my recent traffic violation is eligible for ticket dismissal at my local court?
GetDefensive.com is 100% approved by every court in the State of Texas for online ticket dismissal.  If you qualify for ticket dismissal, your court will notify you as to when you have to take a defensive driving class.  Also, if you successfully complete the GetDefensive.com defensive driving internet course, you may qualify for a 10% auto insurance discount through your insurance carrier; however, we strongly advise that you should first consult with your local auto insurance agent.

Yes, if it has been over one (1) year since you took an online defensive driving program, then you qualify.  Texas State Law prevents you from removing a second traffic citation every twelve (12) months. How many quizzes are there in GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving internet course, and do they go against my total score?
There is a brief quiz after each chapter in GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving online course.  The quizzes are important and are designed to help in preparing you for the defensive driving final examination, but they do not go against your final grade in the online defensive driving class.
If I complete the GetDefensive.com Texas internet defensive driving class, is it equivalent to finishing a defensive driving course in an actual classroom setting, and how can I verify if my local court accepts it?
