GetDefensive.com offers Texas internet defensive driving classes, and the cost may vary by format.   If you choose the defensive driving DVD or the defensive driving streaming video, the price may be slightly more.   For the defensive driving course, the cost is the minimum allowed price under State law, and this includes the shipping of the Texas certificate of completion via regular US mail.
I just received a traffic citation and have to finish GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving online class for ticket dismissal. After I sign up, what is the next step?
GetDefensive.com offers two (2) types of internet defensive driving classes - one is for ticket dismissal and the other is for auto insurance premium reduction.  You may sign up for  GetDefensive.com’s internet defensive driving course on any computer with online access.  You are permitted to start and stop as often as you'd prefer, and then pick up from wherever you left off.  The online defensive driving class is divided into several chapters, and at the end of each chapter you will be given a short, multiple-choice quiz which will assist you in preparing for the final exam. When you satisfactorily finish the final exam, GetDefensive.com will issue to you a certificate of completion which will be mailed to you via the shipping method that you choose at registration.
My auto insurance premiums are more than usual, and I obtained a traffic citation recently. When I register for GetDefensive.com’s Texas defensive driving online course, am I eligible for any auto insurance reduction?
Possibly.  Although we do urge that you call your local auto insurance agent before signing up for the GetDefensive.com defensive driving internet course.  We can tell you that numerous auto insurance carriers offer reductions of up to 10% to policyholders who successfully take the GetDefensive.com internet defensive driving class.   Also, customers who pass our online defensive driving course for ticket dismissal get two (2) copies of his or her completion certificate--one to present to the court and one to present to his or her auto insurance agent.
