GetDefensive.com offers two (2) types of internet defensive driving courses - one is for ticket dismissal and the other is for auto insurance premium reduction.  You may finish GetDefensive.com’s online defensive driving course on any computer with internet access.  You are free to start and stop as often as needed, and then resume from wherever you left off.  The online defensive driving course is divided into several chapters, and at the end of each chapter you will have to take a short, multiple-choice quiz which will assist you in preparing for the final exam. When you successfully finish the final exam, GetDefensive.com will issue to you a completion certificate which will be sent to you via the mailing method that you choose at registration.
Is it feasible to get any auto insurance premium reduction if I take GetDefensive.com’s Texas defensive driving online class?
It is possible.  Although we do advise that you consult with your local auto insurance agent before enrolling in the GetDefensive.com internet defensive driving program.  We can tell you that numerous insurance carriers offer reductions of up to 10% to policyholders who successfully complete the GetDefensive.com online defensive driving course.   Also, customers who get through our online defensive driving class for ticket dismissal get two (2) copies of his or her certificate of completion--one to present to the court and one to submit to his or her auto insurance agent.
If my computer breaks down, am I permitted to switch computers in the middle of the GetDefensive.com defensive driving internet class, and then resume where I left off?
Yes!  You can begin the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online class from one computer, and then finish it from another computer.  You can work from multiple computers if you want to, but you will have to make sure that each computer has the flash and browser features that are needed. GetDefensive.com will run a brief scan on any computer that you log into for the first time to be sure that it has the necessary software installed.  GetDefensive.com can easily fit into anyone’s schedule!
My work schedule does not permit me to complete GetDefensive.com’s Texas defensive driving online class in one sitting. Am I allowed to start and stop the program when needed?
Yes, you may take a time out as needed when you take the GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving internet course.  You do not have to complete the program all at one time.  When you do need to take a break, you can then resume where you left off.  GetDefensive.com’s program is flexible, and it may be arranged around your hectic schedule!
How can I receive the Texas certificate of completion after I have passed the GetDefensive.com online defensive driving class?

Yes!  GetDefensive.com is 100% recognized by every court in the State of Texas for online ticket dismissal.  If you qualify for ticket dismissal, your court will inform you as to when you must complete a defensive driving course.  Also, if you satisfactorily finish the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online program, you may qualify for a 10% auto insurance discount through your insurance carrier; however, we strongly recommend that you first consult with your local auto insurance agent.
I want to complete a defensive driving online program for ticket dismissal purposes. How can I verify whether I qualify to complete GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving internet course?
State Law in Texas prohibits you from removing a second traffic citation every twelve (12) months. If you are not certain as to when you last successfully finished the online defensive driving course, we urge that you contact the traffic court to verify if you  currently are eligible to finish GetDefensive.com's defensive driving internet program.
If I did not do well the quizzes in GetDefensive.com’s Texas defensive driving internet course, am I penalized in any way against my final score?
No.  There is a short quiz after each internet
defensive driving class chapter.  The online defensive driving class quizzes are meant to prepare you for the final exam, and they do not go against your overall course grade.
