Prices may vary by format for GetDefensive.com’s Texas online defensive driving courses.  The cost may be slightly higher if you choose the defensive driving DVD or the defensive driving streaming video.  For the defensive driving class, the cost is the minimum allowed price under State law, and this includes the mailing of your Texas certificate of completion that will be sent via regular US mail.
Will you confirm how the GetDefensive.com Texas defensive driving online class works, and what do I need to do after registration?
There are two (2) types of online defensive driving courses available - one is for ticket dismissal and the other is for insurance premium reduction.  You can take the online defensive driving course on any computer with internet access, and you are free to start and stop as often as you would prefer, and pick up from wherever you left off.  The online defensive driving program is divided into several chapters, and at the end of each chapter you will be issued a short, multiple-choice quiz which will assist you in preparing you for the final exam. Once you satisfactorily complete the final exam, GetDefensive.com will issue you a completion certificate which will be sent to you via the mailing method that you select at the time of registration.

Is it possible to receive any auto insurance premium reduction if I enroll in GetDefensive.com’s Texas defensive driving online class?
It is possible.  Although we do recommend that you consult with your local auto insurance agent before enrolling in the GetDefensive.com internet defensive driving course.  We can tell you that many insurance carriers offer discounts of up to 10% to policyholders who successfully complete the GetDefensive.com online defensive driving course.   Also, customers who get through our internet defensive driving class for ticket dismissal get two (2) copies of his or her completion certificate--one to give to the court and one to submit to his or her auto insurance agent.
I have a very tight schedule, and may have to finish GetDefensive.com’s Texas defensive driving internet class from two different computers. Am I allowed to do so?
Yes!  You may finish the GetDefensive.com defensive driving internet class from multiple computers if you need to, but you will need to be certain that every computer has the flash and browser features that are required. GetDefensive.com will run a quick scan on any computer that you log into for the first time to be certain that it has the necessary software installed.
I have a really hectic schedule and I may want to take frequent breaks when I take GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving program online. Is this allowed, or do I have to take it all at one time?
You can take repeated breaks when you finish the GetDefensive.com defensive driving internetprogram program.  You do not have to complete the program all at once, and you may stop whenever you want to.  You may then resume where you left off.  GetDefensive.com has your busy schedule in mind!
After I complete GetDefensive.com’s internet defensive driving class, how do I get my Texas certificate of completion?
After you have passed the Texas online defensive driving, GetDefensive.com will send via regular mail  the completion certificate to the mailing address that you entered when you registered to take the course.  Keep in mind that you must take the certificate to the court by or before the court due date.
I have to prevent a traffic citation from being added to my Texas driver record. Is GetDefensive.com’s Texas defensive driving internet course approved by my local court?
Yes!  GetDefensive.com is 100% recognized by every court in the State of Texas for internet ticket dismissal.  If you are eligible for ticket dismissal, your court will notify you as to when you must finish a defensive driving program.  Also, if you successfully finish the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online program, you may qualify for a 10% auto insurance discount through your insurance carrier; however, we strongly recommend that you first contact your local auto insurance agent.
I would want to keep my recent traffic ticket off of my Texas driver record. What are the eligibility requirements for signing up for GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving internet course?
State Law in Texas restricts you from removing more than one (1) traffic citation every twelve (12) months.
