The cost may vary by format for GetDefensive.com’s Texas internet defensive driving classes.  The cost may be slightly more if you select the defensive driving DVD or the defensive driving streaming video.  For the online defensive driving course, the cost is the lowest possible cost under State law, and this includes the mailing of the Texas completion certificate that will be sent mailed.
How can I satisfactorily complete the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online program?
Basically, there are two (2) types of internet defensive driving courses that are available - one is for ticket dismissal and the other is for auto insurance premium reduction.  You may enroll in the online defensive driving class on any computer with online access, and you are permitted to start and stop as often as you'd like, and pick up from wherever you left off.  The online defensive driving program is divided into several chapters, and at the end of each chapter you will have to complete a short, multiple-choice quiz which will assist you in preparing for the final exam. Once you satisfactorily complete the final exam, GetDefensive.com will present to you a completion certificate which will be sent to you via the mailing method that you select at the time of registration.
I prefer to sign up for GetDefensive.com’s online defensive driving course for ticket dismissal. Do I qualify to obtain any auto insurance premium reduction?
Yes, it is likely.  Although we do recommend that you check with your local auto insurance agent before registering for the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online class.  It is helpful to know that many auto insurance carriers offer discounts of up to 10% to policyholders who satisfactorily finish the GetDefensive.com defensive driving class.   Also, customers who do get through our internet defensive driving course for ticket dismissal get two (2) copies of his or her certificate of completion -- one to present to the court and one to give to his or her auto insurance agent.
If my computer breaks down, am I allowed to switch computers in the middle of the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online class, and then resume where I left off?
Yes!  You can start the GetDefensive.com defensive driving internet course from one computer, and then finish it from another computer.  You can work from multiple computers if you need to, but you will have to be certain that each computer is equipped with the flash and browser features that are required. GetDefensive.com will run a brief scan on any computer that you log into for the initial time to make certain that it has the necessary software installed.  GetDefensive.com can easily work into anyone’s daily routine!
I cannot sit for extended periods of time, and I would rather take GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving online course at intervals. Is this permitted, or am I required to complete it all at one time?
You may take breaks as often as necessary when you get through the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online course.  You are not required to get through the course all at one time.  When you do have to take a break, you can then resume where you left off.  GetDefensive.com’s course is flexible, and can be worked into your full schedule!
My court needs to receive the Texas certificate of completion when I satisfactorily complete the GetDefensive.com defensive driving internet course. How can they obtain it?
When you successfully finish the GetDefensive.com Texas internet defensive driving class, the completion certificate will be mailed to the mailing address that you provided when you signed up.  However, keep in mind that you must take it to the court by or before the court due date.

Yes!  GetDefensive.com is 100% accepted by every court in the State of Texas for online ticket dismissal.  If your traffic ticket is eligible for dismissal, your court will advise you as to when you have to complete a defensive driving course.  You may also be eligible for a 10% auto insurance discount through your insurance carrier if you successfully complete the internet defensive driving course at GetDefensive.com; however, we strongly advise that you first contact your local auto insurance agent.
