Once you satisfactorily finish the final exam, GetDefensive.com will issue to you a certificate of completion which will be sent to you via the mailing method that you select at the time of registration.
If I pass the GetDefensive.com defensive driving program, do I qualify to obtain any auto insurance premium reduction?
Yes, it is probable. Although we do advise that you call your local auto insurance agent prior to taking the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online class. Also, we can tell you that many auto insurance carriers offer reductions of up to 10% to policyholders who successfully complete the GetDefensive.com defensive driving course. Also, customers who pass our online defensive driving class for ticket dismissal get two (2) copies of his or her certificate of completion--one to give to the court and one to submit to his or her auto insurance agent.

Yes, you may take frequent breaks as needed when you take GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving online program. You do not need to take the course all at once. I need to advise the court that I have successfully finished the GetDefensive.com defensive driving internet class. Is the Texas completion certificate sent directly to my local court?
No. After you have successfully finished the Texas online defensive driving course, GetDefensive.com will mail the completion certificate to the mailing address that you provided at registration. Please remember that you must present it to the court by or before the court due date.
