I'd prefer that my Texas driver record stay clear, and I have to take an internet defensive driving course soon. How does GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving online class work?
GetDefensive.com offers two (2) types of internet defensive driving classes - one is for ticket dismissal and the other is for auto insurance premium reduction.  You may finish GetDefensive.com’s internet defensive driving course on any computer with online access.  You may start and stop as often as you'd like, and then resume from wherever you left off.  The online defensive driving class is divided into several chapters, and at the end of each chapter you will be given a short, multiple-choice quiz which will assist you in preparing for the final exam. When you successfully finish the final exam, GetDefensive.com will give to you a completion certificate which will be mailed to you via the mailing method that you select at registration.
Is there any assurance that I will receive an auto insurance premium reduction when I successfully take GetDefensive.com’s Texas defensive driving online course?
It is probable, but not guaranteed.  Although we do advise that you consult with your local auto insurance agent before taking the GetDefensive.com Texas defensive driving online course.  We can tell you that many auto insurance carriers offer discounts| of up to 10% to policyholders who successfully take the GetDefensive.com defensive driving program.   Also, customers who get through our internet defensive driving course for ticket dismissal get two (2) copies of his or her completion certificate--one to give to the court and one to give to his or her auto insurance agent.
Am I required to log in to the exact same computer when I complete the second half of the GetDefensive.com Texas defensive driving online course?
No.  As long as the computer has online access, you may finish GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving internet course from any computer.  You are permitted to use multiple computers if you have to, but you will need to make sure that each computer is equipped with the flash and browser features that are needed. GetDefensive.com will run a quick scan on any computer that you log into for the first time to be certain that it has the required software installed.  The defensive driving online program can fit into a hectic daily routine! 
I’d rather not attend a traditional defensive driving classroom course. Is it necessary for me to complete GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving online course all in one sitting, or may I take breaks as necessary?
You may take frequent breaks when you finish the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online course.  You do not need to complete the program all in one sitting, and you may stop whenever you need to.  You can then resume where you left off.  GetDefensive.com has your full schedule in mind!
I need to advise the court that I have successfully finished the GetDefensive.com defensive driving internet course. Is the Texas completion certificate sent directly to my local court?
No.  After you have successfully finished the Texas internet defensive driving course, GetDefensive.com will send via regular mail the certificate of completion to the shipping address that you provided when you signed up.  Please remember that you must present it to the court by or before the court due date.
 
I need to have a clean Texas driver record, but I just received a traffic citation this month. If I complete the GetDefensive.com Texas defensive driving online class, how can I find out whether I am eligible for online ticket dismissal by my local court?
GetDefensive.com is 100% recogized by every court in the State of Texas for online ticket dismissal.  If you qualify for ticket dismissal, your court will advise you as to when you need to finish a defensive driving class.  Also, if you successfully meet the requirements of the GetDefensive.com defensive driving internet course, you may qualify for a 10% auto insurance discount through your insurance carrier; however, we strongly recommend that you first call your local auto insurance agent.

State Law in Texas prohibits you from removing a second traffic citation every twelve (12) months. No.  There is a short quiz after each internet defensive driving course chapter.  The internet defensive driving class quizzes are essential and they are designed to help in preparing you for the final exam.  However, they will not weigh against your overall class grade.
I am really on the go and do not have time to sit through a traditional defensive driving class in a classroom setting. If I take the GetDefensive.com defensive driving course over the internet, how can I be certain that it is accepted by my local court?
