GetDefensive.com offers Texas online defensive driving courses and online auto insurance reduction courses, and the cost may vary by format.   If you choose the defensive driving DVD or the defensive driving streaming video, the cost may be slightly higher.   For the internet defensive driving class, the cost is the minimum allowed under State law, and this includes the mailing of the Texas completion certificate that will be sent via regular US mail.

I took a traditional classroom defensive driving course over 1 year ago. Since I not up-to-date with internet defensive driving classes, will you let me know what I am required to do after signing up for the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online class?
There are two (2) types of internet defensive driving courses that are available - one is for ticket dismissal and the other is for auto insurance premium reduction.  You may start the internet defensive driving class on any computer with internet access, and you are free to start and stop as often as you'd prefer, and pick up from wherever you left off.  The online defensive driving class is divided into several chapters, and at the end of each chapter you will have to complete a short, multiple-choice quiz which will help you in preparing for the final exam. Once you successfully finish the final exam, GetDefensive.com will give to you a certificate of completion which will be sent to you via the mailing method that you pick at the time of registration.
If I successfully get through GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving online course, do I qualify to get an auto insurance premium reduction?
Yes, it is likely.  Although we do urge that you check with your auto local insurance agent before signing up for the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online course.  We can tell you that many auto insurance carriers offer discounts of up to 10% to policyholders who satisfactorily finish the GetDefensive.com defensive driving program.   Also, customers who pass our internet defensive driving course for ticket dismissal get two (2) copies of his or her completion certificate--one to submit to the court and one to present to his or her auto insurance agent.
May I complete GetDefensive.com’s Texas defensive driving online class from a different computer if my current computer has technical problems?
Yes.  As long as the computer has online access, you can complete GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving program from any computer.  You are permitted to use multiple computers if you need to, but you will have to be certain that each computer has the flash and browser features that are necessary. GetDefensive.com will run a brief scan on any computer that you log into for the initial time to be certain that it has the needed software installed.  GetDefensive.com can work into a fullbusy daily routine!  
I really sit often with my work, and may find it hard to sit through a long defensive driving course when I return home in the evening. Do I need to complete the GetDefensive.com Texas defensive driving online class all at once, or may I take frequent breaks?
You may start and stop as often as needed when you finish the GetDefensive.com defensive driving internet course.  You do not need to finish the course all at once.  When you do need to take a break, you can then resume where you left off.  GetDefensive.com’s course is flexible, and can be worked into your hectic schedule!

I attended a traditional traffic school classroom program over 12 months ago. How can I be sure if I qualify to complete the GetDefensive.com defensive driving online course?
State Law in Texas prohibits you from dismissing more than one (1) traffic citation every twelve (12) months. How many quizzes are part of the GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving internet program?
There is a short quiz after each internet defensive driving class chapter.  Each quiz is selected in order to help in getting you ready for the final exam.  The quizzes do not go against your total grade.
