I need to take a Texas defensive driving online course. I may decide to take GetDefensive.com’s internet defensive driving course or I may select the defensive driving DVD. Are they the same price?

GetDefensive.com offers Texas internet defensive driving courses, and the price may vary by format. If you choose the defensive driving DVD or the defensive driving streaming video, the cost may be slightly more. For the online defensive driving course, the cost is the lowest possible under State law, and this includes the mailing of the Texas completion certificate that will be mailed.

I took a traditional classroom defensive driving program over 1 year ago. Since I not aware of internet defensive driving programs, will you confirm what I have to do after signing up for the GetDefensive.com defensive driving internet class?

There are two (2) types of internet defensive driving courses that are available - one is for ticket dismissal and the other is for auto insurance premium reduction. You may start the online defensive driving class on any computer with online access, and you are allowed to start and stop as often as you'd prefer, and resume from wherever you left off. The internet defensive driving program is divided into several chapters, and at the end of each chapter you will have to complete a short, multiple-choice quiz which will assist you in preparing for the final exam. Once you pass the final exam, GetDefensive.com will give to you a certificate of completion which will be sent to you via the mailing method that you pick at the time of registration.

How can I find out if I can get an auto insurance premium reduction if I take GetDefensive.com’s defensive driving online class?

Although we do advise that you consult with your local auto insurance agent before registering for the GetDefensive.com online defensive driving program. We can tell you that many auto insurance carriers offer reductions of up to 10% to policyholders who favorably complete the GetDefensive.com online defensive driving class. Also, customers who do complete our internet defensive driving class for ticket dismissal get two (2) copies of his or her completion certificate--one to give to the court and one to submit to his or her auto insurance agent.

Do I need to use the exact same computer every time that I log in to the GetDefensive.com Texas defensive driving online class?

No, you may take the GetDefensive.com internet defensive driving course from any computer with internet access. You are permitted to use multiple computers if you need to, but you will need to make sure that each computer has the flash and browser features that are needed.
